Problems with this forum.

I'm restarting my adventure game work.  It's a hobby.  I have lots of people that I know that are helping me start up production again.

It has come to my attention that Blackthorne was working on a game -at the same time- he and his friends spammed, griefed and trolled any attempts by me or my team to work on the game.

Blackthorne followed us to this site, where we promised not to discuss anything that happened before.  Now we know that Blackthorne and his friends (Broomie comes to mind) continued to harass our team, even on this forum.

What happened on this forum?  It was locked.  It was a slap in the face for everyone on my team, and we were surprised this forum was unable to 'rise above the Trolls'.

We've all learned our lesson.  This is a good forum for technical issues (I posted in the technical forums without any problems).  That's where it ends.

The final nail on the coffin was the trolling caused by Mig.  Really?  what is the point?  It's just a hobby?  Don't get yourself bent out of shape.

When was this? I've heard of the user Blackthorne, although I don't really know him, but as a long time forum user/mod that's all that makes sense to me in this. Sorry if you disagreed with a modding decision somewhere... it's not possible to make everyone happy, we mostly sort out trolls without causing too much trouble though, I think. The few trolls we get.

Man, i think your overreacting to what sounds like nothing. I mean you have 3 posts how much trouble can these guys possibly cause when you have 3 posts, one of wich is in here. If they are harassing you by PM.. just dedlete em :/

Basically every forum you goto has atleast one Asshole. I have 2800 members on my forum, and altho some are complete assholes, generally people are respectful and well behaved. There is generally only 3 trouble makers.

Best soloution for you. Make a new forum account and tell nobody its name. If you have to ask questions, use that account. If you wanna post in other places, use this one. NEVER let people push you around and ruin your fun.

If you're the same "Jodo" that I'm thinking of, you were an annoying pain in the ass back then, and after two posts today, you still haven't changed.

Here's a hint:  If you want to "rise above the trolls" -
1. Don't dig up month-old threads.
2. Don't bad mouth the tolerability of the forums (like you would really know anything about that)
3. You and your team can just shut the hell up and work on your game, and don't mind the other people who you so callously label as "trolls".
