Return, Apology, and Request for the mods

Hello, it's me, Dan N., and I have returned. I doubt this is of any interest to anyone, but I'd just like to say that I'm sorry to FSi, and to everyone I've promised something up until this point. I've also created a new nickname, to signify a fresh start, for myself, everyone can keep attacking me for my past, if they like, I won't ask for anyone's help anymore, because I really don't deserve it. I won't announce anything, I won't promise anything, and I don't ask anything in return. Right, so, I also have a big favour to ask the mods, is it possible to use this account, or should I revert to my old one? If I've made a big mistake, I apologise, ban me, or guide me, please.

Well Dan it seems that you've calmed down a bit. That's definitely a good start. I always like to point out that "I'm not anyone special around here" however IMHO as long as you're willing to actually make a fresh start and not just pull the same stunts, you'll be welcomed back...by most in any case.

However on that note, you can't just expect everyone to jump out of their seats and say "Yay! Dan's back!" and rush over to hug you. There will still be a lot who are wary to believe that you're actually wanting to start anew. It's to be expected though.

My personal suggestion would be not to try and do everything. Find one thing that you're good at it, and stick to it. If you get bored then by all means dawdle in other ventures for a while to keep yourself entertained; just keep in mind what your main focus is.

My passion is scripting. I'd like to imagine that I'm good at it. Mainly I try stick to scripting things. Sometimes I'll venture off and try my hand at artwork somewhat (which I largely am no good at), but I always come back to the scripts.

Find your passion and stick to it. When you've produced something you can share, share it. Empty promises just hurt everyone in the long run, so if you're not up to something, don't promise to do it. Just do what you are capable of and then let us see it.

I too like to point out that I'm not anyone special round here, but truth be told I am and it feels good, especially within this jacuzzi in which I am currently writing. Where did I get this Jacuzzi? A shop, the shop of life and don't you forget it. If you've forgotten already then you'd better close youtube, less distractions.

Now changing your name, but telling people your old name that's not the way it's meant to happen. For instance I give people loads of fake names for scamming and other purposes, if I were to give them my real name they'd put me right in prison with the county sheriff smoking a cigar listening to country music. Not that I have any trouble with country music, in fact I'm a fan of country music. That's part of my success but so is wearing a suit if I'm going to answer the door, presentation never fails. Plus having a new account causes greater strain on the server, but who cares? It's not like we're paying for the server, in fact I made 100 accounts today that I'm never going to use, I did that to ensure the basic minds of the people who maintain the server have something to do, I'm keeping the economy alive. Not a lot of people can say that, but I can. Because I just did. The servers clearly aren't very good, it took 0.15 seconds to make this page, I could have spent that time not giving a damn.

I too have returned, I didn't really go anywhere I just had better things to do. Like get the highest score on a Donkey Kong arcade cabinet that's sitting in my garage, it was worth the time and money because it got me respect and that's all you need. Don't ask the mods if you can use that account because you can, even if they say you can't do it anyway to spite them. That's right take life and grab it by the balls then go on the great groovy roller coaster of greatness.

I'll have to guide you as I can't ban you and due to some absurd forum rules made up by those kooky Moderators I can't even pretend to ban you. Or can I? Let's see. You're banned from this forum. Well that wasn't too hard. But my guidance is this, take all your money and make one giant transaction to my swiss bank account. Thanks, thanks.

I'm with Tuomas, I seem to have missed whatever the hell Dan is talking about Although I was largely Inactive around Juneish, so that explains that one.

Whatever it was you did do Dan, I'm sure it took guts to come back and apologise about it. And you obviously care enough about this place to ask for forgivness... (unless you've just come to stir things up again, but I don't see it).
