Incase some of you poor souls are not aware I like to save interesting posts on my homepage ( http://www.sylpher.com/oldforum.html ). Although no posts have been added in quite awhile. If any of you know of a post you think should not fall of the face of the internet please post it here. I would like to save the picture post but it is 10 pages long now and I can't figure out how to get the whole post on one page. Plus that is a lot of images to eat my space so if you were thinking about that one stop...turn around...and find another one.

(Yes, I know about the print button...but it strips all the images and what good is a picture post with no pictures?)

Paranoia

that was one hell of a thread! i must go back and read some of the old ones, it amazes me how things can spiral out of control, not just in forums but chat too, i once got a "LOL" in the wrong place and ended up laffing at someone who had a major heart attack :-\

Anyway, how about the Haiku thread? Though I'm not very into this kind of things, I think it's worth saving.

"salvaged" by the way, I think is proper in this situation.  :)

Threads? I dunno, maybe the robot anchorman one?  I saved all the images on my hardrive.
"I drink a thousand shipwrecks.'"

Helm

Pick any religion thread and then subtitle it "WE'VE DISCUSSED THIS ALREADY" and post a link to it everytime a new one pops up.

Nellie

Yes, definitely save the robot anchorman thread.  That was funny as hell.

M

Aww, emotional threads. Its really easy to piss people off on the internet. Harder to detect the tone of a statement when its in text.

Barcik

Maybe both KQ2 thread featuring RPGC's classic silliness? That was so fun.

The robot wars thread is also kickass. Ninjas! Assassins! Goremug! Robots of fiery destruction!

Links LINKS!

And I meant savaged...it seemed to make sense last night..as in save posts from being Savaged...but I dunno.

Am I just a grammar pain in the ass or what?

Savage is usually a noun or an adjective like "savage beast" or "noble savage", however as a verb "savage" means 'to attack' basically.
Save threads from being attacked?

"Salvage", on the other hand, means:

"to save property from destruction in a calamity (as a wreck or fire)"

"extracting something  (as from rubbish) as valuable or useful"

*thanks to webster

"I drink a thousand shipwrecks.'"

Sylpher

Yesh, Mr. Ass pain...What I meant was Posts will be Savaged...as in destroyed. However since I will Salvage them this will not be. I suppose Savaged Posts! is more appropriate...or Save Savaged Posts...or I dunno...

I've learned not to mess with Texas.
Or so say the T-shirts.

Ah, the most well known anti-litter campain known to man.

I prefer Tennessee's slogan:  "Leave the trash in the trailer park, not on the crumbling highway system. Thanks."

Duuude! I was looking at that thread recently, and I was saddened to see so many red x'es. Whatever you do, don't format your harddrive! :)

* Ghormak nominates that thread for salvation. Savaging. Savariftuity. Whatever.

So yeah, of the red exes, I have all the ones missing from the second page- but sadly neither of the two from the third page "andy_robot" and "sexy_robot"
"I drink a thousand shipwrecks.'"

Sylpher

Well if anyone knows a way to make a thread appear all on one page like the old forums I would really appretiate it...I tried a couple things but nothing worked...CJ?

TerranRich

Did you try looking at the code of both pages and just attach the last "</TR>" of the first page to the first "<TR>" of the next?

In other words, re-code it to appear as though it is a continuous table.
