Sounds good for low bit files.

I'd have mixed in the vocals softer and the guitars a bit louder, but then again, I used to be the singer in a punk band, and nowadays I sing in hardrock band, so I like my guitars loud. ;)

What's your band called?

Paper Carnival

It's good, but not my style of music (which is not a bad thing if you are not me).

I'd put louder and havier guitars (but not too heavy cause it wouldn't match the vocals). I like the vocals when they are not softy.

liked a lot Number 3 ... is that your voice  :o ?

I started another thread on the AGS bands and whatnot a while back which can be found here. Since then, I've been reading up on musical theroy and studying what makes songs good and why people enjoy listening to songs. I listen to your stuff and it sounds great, the only song that needs help is the first one, so I wrote some reviews on what I thought might help.

NLS:

Guitar intro is nice, and exactly what it should be. It really gives you the feel of the song with out giving away too much. The phaser effect is almost too much I think. Maybe a tad bit of overdrive would help it sound less "honky".

At 0:10 I believe the bass comes in, but I can hardly hear it. Louder, much louder.

0:45 Drum-roll into the harder part. This sounds great, and really makes the listener excited to be at the "good" part.

1:14 New attitude. The grungey guitar and bass with the organ keys sounds awesome. But the drums are soft, I'm not sure if loudness is the key or sharper druming.

1:33 Another change which was nice and clean. The phaser really works well here.

1:44 Background vocals sound awesome, especially the male part.

2:45 Killer solo! When the guitar plays into the lyrics with the vocals, I just melted, heh. The solo sounded so great, I would continue to play the solo through the lyrics.

3:26 Piano comes in terribly. The part is great and sounds good, but it should really come in after 3 1/2 measures instead of 1 1/2.

It ended with a nice jam and then with a power fade, which worked well. In whole, the song is very nice, with a lot of fluxuation. It's great music, that would work well as a starter peice.

Nostalgia:

Wow, I don't really have anything to say about this but that it's awesome. It sounds perfessional, and I wouldn't change anything.

Who Cover:

Also nothing I can say but awesome. The Who couldn't have done better. Well... Maybe. ;)

BerserkerTails

Being a huge Who fan (Toomy is my FAVORITE album of all time), I was actually surprised that I enjoyed your cover of "We're not going to take it"! The vocals were very Roger Daltrey-esque, even sounded quite a bit like him. The drum fills seemed to rush quite a bit though, making the whole song speed up for a few moments.
I make music.

The only reason I disagree here is because I kinda wanted it to leave you a feeling of uncomplete untill 0:43 when it fills out. But you are pobably right on how its thick.

Yeah I know. when we had it mixed in the studio there was a nice system with a good sub so the bass sounded awsome. When we got it home it was too quiet without jacking a subwoofer.

As for the rest of what you said alot of good points and i'll show them to the rest of the guys. Its kinda my fault tho I wrote that one :P

And thanks to everyone for the comments i'll spread the word to the band.

Keep em comin!

If you are someone out there thinking "crappy amateur music not worth my time" then please think again. Ã, I have personally recommended to Chris that he should think about putting a demo tape together and sending it to some recording companies. Ã, This band, despite their bizarre name, have, I think, infinite times more talent than most of the music industry put together. Ã, "We're Not Gonna Take It" is possibly the best song there is, the guitar solo in "Listening to You" (at the outro sequence) had me looking for my guitar upstairs, just because it was so original and energetic and uplifting. Ã, I have not felt like this about music since the day I bought my first ever Red Hot Chili Peppers album. Ã, All of the songs abolutely rule you have a unique gift to make amazing music which is rare in this day and age, and I would be very surprised if EMI (not the game ;D ) turned down a demo tape with these songs on it. Ã, Good luck in the future with your music, not that you need it, and when you are famous, I want a live performance in my back yard!!

Not only is the music amazing, but the lyrics are remind me of Tenacious D style comedy.  "Hey you smoking mother nature!!  this is a bust!!".  Comic genius, something I know the people of this website will fully appriciate!

Hey man thanks for the comments.
As i Said before "We're not gonna take it" is a cover of a song by the band "The Who" off of The album  "Tommy".
So i can not take credit for the lyrics, but i'm happy you liked the music aswell!

The other two are all original tho
Thanks
