Wait!  You have hair in that picture?  Oh yeah, you do, look at that.

Thank you for making me feel like a dirty old man ...

I think Yufster is hoping that Hugh Heffner is reading the Forums.  :=

Instead of blonde, I think you should all try & look like the guy pulling the worlds most un-natural and distrubing pub-pose ever.

Hmm the willow-red looks awesome.

I decided against it... bah... you men are so confusing... you all fancy the blonde girls and cheat on us to be with them, then you try to convince us not to dye our hair so we can stand a chance at a relationship... I hate you all...

Okay, sorry, angry generalization rant over. It was a moment of blind fury blah blah blah.

I actually kind of like the red, willow from buffy looks nice that way hmm HMMM.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMm.

What? Who? When?

Of the colors that have already been put up there, I'd have to agree with you on the red being the coolest, Yufster. Another benefit of doing it red is that you don't have to bleach it nearly as much to get a good red hue as you do to go blonde. My hair's always been dark, and though I don't dye my hair anymore, I did all throughout university (Which I'm glad I got out of my system when I did, since balding and funky color don't really mesh so well). You look like you have really nice, healthy hair, so the less bleaching you do to it, the better. After you do go in to get it bleached, regardless of how little, it's gonna be really brittle and you can't avoid a load of damage. Be sure you're using a good reconstructor, like K-Pak.

If you wanted to go subtle, or didn't want the monotony of monotone, I'd suggest, as lo_res_man did, to go with dark hair - even dye it black if you like, or even a darker shade of brown (no bleach, so a lot less damage), and only bleach out a few streaks to platinum. It's a great way to bring more attention to your hair without going too overboard, and it's much more interesting, in my humble opinion. I took the liberty of doing a very basic edit to explain.

Original -> Edit

It's far from a perfect representation of what you'd get, and that's also very dependent upon the quality of the dye-job, but that's the idea. If you want to get really fancy, I'd even suggest seeing if your stylist could handle dying your hair black, and adding a tint of either red or blue, when the light hits it. Also a very cool effect, if that's the kind of thing you like.

I've always had a preference for dark hair, although more importantly, I prefer the natural hair colour. Whatever it may be
On a similar note I rather dislike make-up and such finery, because it tricks the male mind. Lots of make-up on women discourages me, because I know it means I'm much less likely to find the person underneath attractive. And, you know, it's the person underneath that I'm interested in.

...Apart from that, Belfast girls apply make-up as if it were a replacement face rather than a facial augment. Damages the skin more than some of the gentler cancers. When I look at their orange skin and peroxide hair, I keep thinking that they'll look about 50 when they're 25.
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!

If someone cheated on you, it was probably for the best, since the man obviously had some mental problem.

My girlfriend had pink hair for the longest time. After I cut off all of my blue, she dyed her's pink. Then after that she went purple and some other crappy in between colors.

(looks more red in this from color correcting)

Pink has to be redyed ever two weeks or so, but the bleaching is only done once. Purple fades the quickest, and blue will eventually turn an ugly aqua-marine color, which is why I cut mine off.

I fancy pink hair over red any day.

I prefer boobs. Camon guys, which do you notice first, boobs or hair?
I am just a shallow stereotype, so you should take into consideration that my opinion has no great value to you.

This is the result of female emancipation. Males who are too afraid to tell you that blonde is hot and that for most of them it probably was not your hair which attracted their attention...

The hair. Honestly.

voh

I've dated one brunette, the rest was blonde. So while I don't consciously prefer blonde (I prefer brunette/black, actually) I seem to end up with them anyway. Though every time they asked me "should I dye my hair?" I went "UH HUH I'LL PAY FOR IT LET'S GET DYE NOW".

Well, maybe somewhat less obsessively and/or creepily, but you get the idea.

Liked the reddish photoshop, m'self, and the brown.
Still here.

Ya I probably notice the hair :P

As a response to the above-quoted question, I'd notice neither.

My glance would linger around the "behind" area.

What I'd notice next? Eyes, probably, as they look at me angrily.
Still here.

blonde? okay, I'll try...

forgive me I'm not so good in photoshop.

I dyed my hair once (from black to reddish brown) figures out I didn't really need to; after I shaved my head and my hair grew back, it had hints of brown, figures out that it's hereditary (my aunt had it too).

EDIT: You know what? brown is sooo IN these days! maybe you should just get some highlights and a different hairstyle (extensions maybe?)

2ND EDIT:

Straighter and shorter hair?

blonde and extensions:

surgery?

just for fun... I'm against plastic surgery, unless it's really necessary.
