Title: Something rotten in the state of Google
Post by: lo_res_man on Wed 06/12/2006 21:17:17
I was about to google something, when I was directed to this page. http://www.google.com/sorry/?continue=http://www.google.com/search%3Fhl%3Den%26q%3Dcanada
It asked me to type in this spyware protection screwy letters. I, like the sheep I am, typed it in. But when I tried ANYTHING, it popped up with the same thing, plus the logo looks weird. I think some hacker hacked into google and is using humans to get past spyware protection.

I think you already HAD spyware on your comp that redirected your google request to another site.
Clicking on the link ends me up at google's 404 page.

And then download Spybot- Search and Destroy and be sure to activate the "tea timer" mode.
