What are all of your plans for our nation's birthday? Fireworks, beer, etc??
My family has a family reunion every 4th so we all go down to visit them in Ohio (I'm in Michigan) and my uncle Les lights off about 2grand worth of fireworks. Good times!

I'm celebrating the 4th today by working...
But I do make time-and-a-half.
And afterwards I'll be with my British girlfriend and her friend that's visiting from England...ironic, innit?

But however, we do have a load of fireworks. But most of them are nighttime ones.

Heh, I recall last year when a thread like this was made m0ds said "happy impotence day!" or something.
They sent out a thing at work stating if you are gonna be flying be careful when it comes to firework use. Some of the machines at the airports are designed to go off when gun powder or other such items very common in fireworks is on a bag or such. And they are apperantly highly sensitive so...yeah.
I have no plans so far but I am sure that will change. Very shortly!
happy 4th people. Im celebrated by marching in the town's 4th of july parade, (busting out my booyah mad quad skillz) and shooting off fireworks. this is one of my fav. times of the year, cause its one of the few times stuff happens in my tiny town.
sadly enough, im talking about parades, fireworks, and our tiny, mini-street fair. hey, it sells carnie food, so it must be good
I am celebrating the fourth of July by doing nothing, because I'm still recovering from Canada Day, where I went to a Scottish Highland Games.
I just managed to work three different national celebrations into one scentence. Cool!

I'm celebrating it the way everybody celebrates it, with food, drinks, and high-powered explosives, and then going down to the park to watch fireworks.
The only problem is that on the 5th of July i'm usually temporarily deaf from setting off so many loud fireworks with names like 'Chinese Howlers' and the like.
It's all worth it, though!

I made a bunch of drinking rednecks cheer by setting up a pro fireworks display. And everything caught on fire as expected... and it was awesome
I was waiting for the aliens to come and crush Earth and destroy the whitehouse. :D
