Now this is a reason to get a DS over a PSP.

PSP has ScummVM too, both have pros and cons. With DS you either need the graphics scaled down or 'scroll' around the background as the resolution isn't high enough.. but then it does have the stylus.

PSP ofcourse has no stylus, but i think the resolution is high enough and with the memory cards could allow to play 'em in a less hacky way than how the DS is currently done. I think.

about 25 days till my DS (yes, i have decided to get a DS for the sole reason that the PSP costs about $400 whereas the DS costs around $200) will be in my pale, sweaty hands. Huzzah!

Have just been playing with our company psp this evening - mainly getting to grips with the video encoding side of things.

Wow, fantastic screen, amazing picture quality.

But why didn't they include a shutter to protect the UMD disc?

What do you mean by "shutter" the back closes and the UMD is in a hard case

I mean a metal shutter like floppy disks used to have - having a gaping hole in such a small disc is kind of asking for trouble don't you think?
