mabe he want s to transfer to linux but is afraid of change. therefore he is phasing it in slowly, first a background, then a similar colour scheme, sound effects, icons, then eventually the entire OS. or maybe he doesnt know what linux is and thought the pic was cool

Yeah it reminds me of that scene in "Full Metal Jacket" by Stanley Kubrick:

look, i am trying to get my computer to work(this is my older computer)
i have always hated windows and been for a long fan of linux, this has been my desktop all the time.
in my new computer i am going to put linux windows and finally dos
linux will be my number 1
windows will only be so i can play some games
dos because i am scripting in qbasic(quickbasic) and so i can play some abandonware games like mi1 and 2, and so on

I don't like bringing up old threads, but i changed my desktop with a ride from Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 which i made, and it looks really good as desktop wallpaper.

RCT3 is an awesome game, but the peeps at the RCT3 forums would beg to differ. (I'm not a member there, just a lurker)

Just something interesting I thought of. Anyone who feels like it, take a screenshot of your desktop (try to shrink the size down a tad to fit on the page).

I'm just curious as to what desktop icons everyone has, what backround and what OS.

I'll start with mine.

(p.s anything personal can be blurred etc...)
