It makes me sad if all threads turn into discussions about the same theme after a certain amount of time *sniff*

And that's exactly what's happening here right now, e.g. here, here or here, to just give three examples. Also the same things are said over and over and over AND OVER again, which is starting to make my stomach hurt. So if you feel the need to say something about TheVintageDemon, please, for heaven's sake, do it here. And TheVintageDemon, please read this thread. And listen, just listen ONCE to what people say. Y'know, I used to like you, but my sympathy is fading. And people, no insults or flame war, please. That won't help anyone.

I am reading this, but I have made my peace with people (or at least tried to.). I am capable of making friends with people (I used to hate Nikolas, but now I am friends with him). So, I will try to be nice to people, but it's really how they act towards me.

Seems to me that moderators don't really seem do an awful lot to stop people like TVD, and while this kind of thread is kind of immature, I absolutely understand why people feel the need to go and start something like this. It's very frustrating to watch people like TVD get away with being a complete ass, with nothing more than a "please try to behave" or something.

He's too young to be here. He's sending people obnoxious or spammy PMs, and he's adding people to him MSN contacts to harrass them further. He's breaking forum rules and acting like an idiot. Yes, I understand that regular users of the forum get frustrated about that, and yes it's sad that regular users get to this point of frustration where they have to start threads about somebody who is annoying them.

If the admins are going to be so lax about dealing with people like TVD, then they should turn a blind eye to threads like this. If they don't want threads like this, then they should deal with people like TVD. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but I think the little brat is getting away with murder...



TVD, I hope you understand that the reason people are slagging you off is because you're frustrating them with your behaviour. Stop getting on a high horse here, accept that you've been an ass and driven people to really hating you because of your own terrible behaviour.

And even if you did, I can't see why anyone should accept it! You act like a complete asshole towards people who try to help you, and when people complain about your behaviour, you try to use your age as a shield even though doing so, you're admitting that you aren't old enough to be in these forums!

Several years ago when we were on EzBoard, things were a whole lot more relaxed. Ã, I was probably about 13 years old when I joined, and I never felt intimidated, and I was never attacked. Ã, Perhaps one of the reasons for the relaxed atmosphere was simply the smaller size of the forums. Ã, Kind like a small town; everybody knew everybody.

That's not the case now. Ã, We see new people coming in everyday, and that's not neccesarily a bad thing. Ã, The golden rules we have here are good in theory, but are hardly ever enforced. (Perhaps a bad thing for a forum of this size.)

Is this because there are so many people breaking them? Ã, I don't think that's the case, because how come there aren't threads like this one popping up all over the place?

I tend to agree that the rules aren't being enforced enough. Ã, I think many try to be on their best behavior, and then one somebody breaks the rules, it really stands out like this, because it doesn't cease.

I think TVD should definately be welcome here, if he's sincere about reforming his behavior. Ã, But if he, or anybody, continues to break the rules without regard to anybody else, shouldn't there be some sort of action taken? Ã, What's the point of having the rules in the first place then?

TheVintageDemon, please grow up. This is not a kid's playpen, it's an adult forum. If you're unable to act 16, please reconsider whether you should be posting to these forums.

And everyone else, please stop encouraging him by posting about him all the time. Whilst you may not see any evidence of moderators taking action, that doesn't mean that nothing is being done.
As you know, I don't like to ban people which is why we give people a few warnings and a chance to change their behaviour. However, if no notice is taken of these warnings then we will take appropriate action.
