Here is what I got for christmas:

- Wireless optical mouse (I saved the ball from my old mouse as a memento of the nine years we spent together)
- 'Home Improvement' season 1 DVD
- Logitech headphones w/microphone (which does not work with my on-board audio. Rats!)
- gloves
- York Peppermint Patties

Most importantly, this is what I gave:

- the new Nirvana boxset for my brother
- Seinfeld DVD re-giftset and some washcloths for my dear old Mum
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical CD, Avenue Q soundtrack, and the Streets "A Grand Don't come for Free"CD plus a $25 Barnes & Noble giftcard for my sister.

Now, while I'll leave that kid poop alone, I'm curious what his gift total will be in 5 years.

Poop why dont you go to some other forum where people actually enjoy talking to you?

LEts all second that.

Nobody enjoys talking to poop743, he's just an immature troublemaker.

Anyway, I got:

A DVD of the first hundred Strong Bad Emails (monetary value not important)
Another DVD, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King extended edition (must have cost a lot, but who cares)
ANOTHER DVD, the Star Wars trilogy (50 credits ;) )
Books: Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events #4 and #5,  some books about building the Pyramids and a cathedral, and also a Ripley's Believe it or Not thingy, plus some gift cards for Barnes & NOble, (obviously) a book store. (priceless)
Some shirts, including a nice green one (probably worth about $20 AT THE MOST)
Time with family and friends (even more priceless)

What I got BEFORE Christmas:

Time to watch SEINFELD RERUNS! YEAH!
Now let's find out if gasoline is flammable!

Wowie, enjoy that DigiTech pedal!

Evil

Oh, its so useful! It's all digital and weighs about a pound. Everyone should have one! :D

Gregjazz

I should have one, but I just got Native Instrument's Guitar Rig, which is freakin' awesome. You can put together virtual effect pedals, and even position the virtual mic (of your choice) next to the virtual amp (of your choice). Of course, you can't use Guitar Rig live (at least not very easily), but it makes a great studio tool, which suits me fine. Oh, and it comes with hundreds of presets -- each amazing and carefully crafted.

Babar

I got (for my birthday though...not for christmas):
A fine leather jacket (in a appeasing dark brown hue too)
A pair of Binoculars
A high power halogen torch/pencil light
about $4.17 in monetary gifts
The ultimate Professional Amateur

Now, with his very own game: Alien Time Zone

Shane 'ProgZmax' Stevens

I'm more into the giving aspect of christmas than the receiving, so I will just say I got my family gifts that they wanted (and I could afford ;D ).

You MUST be joking. That's got to be the worst comedy series I ever saw. Seinfeld is a great stand-upper, but please don't show us the series again, it's just too painful to watch - everybody else on the show is N times funnier!

Good one, Happyhelmet (I mean the pic).

I wonder what will poop get for his birthday?? 500000 million dollars, new car, an Island named after him. His own country, beaten up by other kids?
You got it!

Coming Soon!

Pet Terry

I gave my friends Rejected t-shirts!

I got a Donald Duck-comic book, it was the best present I got this year. I also got a Don Rosa-calender, it rocks so bad. Man, Don Rosa is SO GREAT.

Then I got some clothes, candy and new speakers for my computer. Oh, and pirated copy of RCT 3. I also spent time with my family, all good fun.

Well, I'm working 72 hours this week (including 24th through 26th) and didn't want to bother decorating or anything. Ã, Having agreed not to do much around the house for Christmas with my roommate, imagine my surprise when I came home to a decorated living room. Ã,

It had gone from bare with average furniture and entertainment center to a madly sparkling phenomenon. Ã, The stockings were hung, the couch was draped in red and white, there was a miniature Christmas tree on the coffee table. Ã, Oh, and did I mention the crime-scene? Ã, There was a Santa-shaped "chalk" outline on the carpet, "blood" everywhere and enough debris and broken ornamentation to demonstrate that the poor fellow had obviously tried to squeeze past the couch after coming down the chimney. A splat of "blood" on the TV and some broken ornaments (oh, and crime-scene evidence number markers) and I had a very merry and cheering Christmas (for the 10 minutes before I went to sleep anyway). Ã,

Idea done by my roommate with the help of his friends and much of the macabre detail arranged by my demented little sister. Ã, My favorite Christmas gift, ever. Ã, Total price? Hell.... Ã, maybe $15? Ã,  Total work? I can't imagine.

Talk about a lovely christmas story!

I bought my mother (among other things) a new electric kettle for christmas, her old one broke and boiling water on the hob takes a good 5-10 minutes. Anyway, this new speedy beast can boil a cup in under 40 seconds!

I woke up at 7am this morning (day after xmas) to the smell of burning, the house full of smoke and the fire alarms. Mum (in need of a cuppa at 7am) had put my new kettle i bought her on the hob, rather than using the provided electric docking bay. The whole bottom of the fucking thing has melted, all the plastic , the metal thermal wires. All that's left is the stainless steel cover which is also rather knackered. Completely b0rked.

Ten points for my mother! whoo... :(
