What was your first car and/or what would you like to be your first car?
I have no idea about cars. Help me out here.
Nissan Micra was the first car I had the pleasure to drive. It was my mums. I was part insured on it!
Speed: 7/10 .... Handling: 8/10 ..... Comfort: 5/10 ....... Turn-circle: 9/10 ..... Fuel efficiency: 8/10 (37)
The first car that was actually MINE and ALL MINE was a 94 Ford Fiesta! Great little car from ebay :D
Speed: 6/10 .... Handling: 7/10 ..... Comfort: 8/10 ....... Turn-circle: 8/10 ..... Fuel efficiency: 8/10 (37)
In the last few days I've got my new car. Its a 93 Vauxhall Corsa, as the fiesta died. This car is also phat
Speed: 6/10 .... Handling: 7/10 ..... Comfort: 7/10 ....... Turn-circle: 7/10 Fuel efficiency: 7/10 (34)
So yeah. I wish my first car had been a Ford XR2... :p or a Jeep Cherokee.
We can all dream.
edit: hmmm! scores indicate my current car is crapper than my last 2 lol
Citroen ZX
I broke it practising reversing round corners to the point where if you stopped, you had to wait for the engine to completely cool down before it would start again.

I would love for this to be my first car.. My dad had the very same and I've fallen in love with it as well..
I don't have a driving licence and don't plan on getting it any time soon because I really don't miss having a car. And I can't drive. But if I *did*, I'd like to own a Mini Cooper. I think it has style.
That said, my first car was built of wood and it drove down the hill :=
No driver's license, no car.
I'd like to get a Mini Cooper, Opel Calibra (yeah, I'm a sucker for that one) or whatever's less than 500 euros and road legal.
Til then? Public transport + bike huzzah!
First car: Fiat Cinquicento 1994
Current car: Ford Focus S-reg 1998
Next car: Vauxhall Zafira... probably about 2002 model and diesel
Surely the most important thing for a woman buying a car is not the make, but the colour ;) :P
My first and only "car" is a light blue 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon with Mercedes Benz logos on it.
I have only had one car, it is an old Renault Clio, white. He is called MC Gouldsworthy, Member of Parilament.
I love him.
Citroen Visa, wine red, '86, 1,12litres engine. Got it's lock hammered in yesterday, broken inside, mutilated and robbed, and is going to be demolished later. A good ride though, it's a sad thing.
I had an '89 Rover 200. It kept breaking down. Eventually one of its head gaskets joined my goldfish in the next life, and I had to have it taken to the scrap yard and given a suitable cremation.
High quality British manufacturing never disappoints.
i'd really love to get an old Chevrolet Astro (http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_popup.jsp?searchform=&modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&photo=1&state=none&sort=3&hassearched=Y&make=CHEVROLET&min_pr=75&source=0&model=ASTRO&max_pr=&miles=1500&agerange=&mileage=&postcode=cm8+1tj&bodyid=0&fuelid=0&colour=ransmissionid=0&ukcarsearch_full.x=69&ukcarsearch_full.y=12&start=9&distance=184&adcategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200721286406618) or any other old american van with nice leather seats and a sofabed in the back.
94 Nissan Maxima 2001-2006
93 Ford F-150 2007- ????

this truck has an interesting story behind it. I bought it from a close friend of Terry Kiser, the actor who plays Bernie from Weekend At Bernie's. I told the truck's owner how big a fan I was of the movie so she had Bernie call me. He actually told me the synopsis to Weekend At Bernie's 3 which he is trying to produce. Hence, this is the Weekend At Bernies Truck.

Actual size shown. It cost me a number of marbles, including my favourite steely.
Doesn't actual size kind of depend on resolution settings and monitor size?
Probably. I'm not that worried.
I am. I'm shivering all over.
My first car was centuries ago! Here it is:

1984 Honda Civic, like this one

1995 Mitsubishi FTO, like this one

1995 Buick Riviera, like this one

As the photos show, Steve MCcrea is an ass man.
1994 Green Toyato Camry, sport addition (which means I have a spoiler and two doors). Still is currently my car, and I plan it being my car until I run it to the ground.
As a first car I suggest Toyota's or Honda's. They tend to be fairly low maintenance, at least where I live.

sport addition (which means I have a spoiler and two doors).
And it can do sums!
1994-1997 Mazda 323 Hatch '84 model, red, manual
1997-2003 Toyota Corolla Deluxe Coupe '74 model, poo brown, manual (My favourite car I've owned)
2003-2005 Daihatsu Charade Hatch '86 model, silver, manual (piece of shit with no power, fuel efficient though)
2005-present Honda Civic Hatch '90 model, red, manual
I've never really been too into cars, and never really cared what type of car I have. Just what was available and affordable at the time when I needed it. But you can get attached to them.
I do like Mazda MX5's though, but I'll wait till my midlife crisis before I spend too much unnecessary money on a car.
My first car was a 1997 Honda Civic, manual transmission. God I loved that car. But I totaled in in 1997.
