I have the grappling hook , fork, knife, paper with mushy stuff on. I read what the paper says but I can't find a way to get past the bird

There is an electrical appliance that you need to get from the office.   Plug it in and use something in it.

I'm on the clock tower with only paper, paper with sticky stuff and a lump of sticky stuff. I used hammer and dropped metal bar on dog But can't work out what I do next?

I've used paper on door and got key but the key won't fit. I have knife, fork, microwave, hammer, paper, pencil, paperclip, grappling hook, but can't get out the door, he keeps saying key won't fit

try using the key to get you out of another opening  ;)

I have freaked out the bird but can't seem to bypass the tree.  I've even tried using my items - grapple, fork, hammer, paper & pencil - on the tree and pillars but nothing happens.

Try using the grapple above you...

im up to the big guy and i've only got the grappling hook,paper and a pencil, what now?

Sometimes the thinnest object can dispose of the biggest obstacle.

I'm unable to get past the bird. Every time I try to take the microwave it says I have no nuke-able items, but I've pinned the piece of paper on the window.

I have a grapple, eraser, gunk, fork, paper with gunk on (despite it already being on the window), knife and paper without gunk on.

EDIT: Ah, got it. A hammer with a microwave?! Ok...

By using the hammer to get the microwave, you are actually using the back-side, the one that is used to pry stuff  ;)

The you get the gunk by using teh knife on the pencil, and the pencil on the microwave (You can't get the gunk if you have already taken the microwave out of it's resting spot, though [Don't worry, it won't effect the outcome.])

I used the knife on the pencil, but what happened to the pencil if I'm supposed to use it on the microwave?

Use eraser on microwave.

So sticking the paper in the window was the end of the boners puzzle?

You must use the knife on pencil, and then the eraser, on microwave. If you've already taken the microwave, that won't work: but as it is a bonus, you'll be able to finish the game without that.
