I'm in the basement, have the smoke machine, matches, sophisticated mask but cannot use any of them. I am under the grate.Ã,  What am I missing.Ã,  I cannot light the smoke machine neither. I even have the elexir.Ã,  The walktru says USE sophisticated gas mask with the opening.Ã,  Do they mean the grate ???Ã,  If not, what opening are they talking about

Also, I'm supposed to use the blue tack behind Batman's poster to glue photo to passport.Ã,  Ã, Where is that Batman poster

Ok!  I have solved it.  I had to put smoke machine on shef, then light it, then open grate and use mask.

As for Batman's poster.....it was in the customs office. :

Wow, I pratically went through this entire forum before I found someone that looked like they had experienced a similiar problem. No mater what I do I cannot get up through the grate in this game. I have the gas mask, (hamburger box with string) but it won't work on the grate...I HAVE TRIED AND TRIED AND NOW I AM JUST TIRED! NOTHING WORKS. EVEN RELOADING THE GAME YUK!!!

I have used the smoke machine with the shelf and the match with the smoke machine. That's not the problem. The problem is that I can't use the gas mask, (hamburger box and string with the grate.) When I do nothing happens...

Hi desimaui,  sorry it took so long to answer you.  I was having problems with my computer.

If you cannot open the grate, try going back in the room with statue.   The mask doesn't work.  I tried that.   But if you just pick up the statue, you will see that the mask is automatically in your face.

Sunshinegold, I can't go back to the room with the statue because after lighting the smoke machine, the showroom is locked up. And I can't pick it up before lighting the smoke machine because the attendant won't let me. This is so weird that I can't figure this out.

I played the game through again and managed to finish it. I think you're missing something.

Perhaps the grate isn't open yet?

Use the metal bar to open it. Then you'll have an opening.

Aside from that, I'm pretty sure you've done everything.

desimaui.Ã,  I went back to my game which I played a long time ago.Ã,  Here is what I did:

1)- in storage room use smoke machine with shelf.
2- use matches with smoke machine
3- wait and read what he is saying.........machine broken....screw
4 - use sceptre on grate
5 - use mask on grate

OUPS   I was trying to help.   But somehow I don't recall having the metal bar before I used the smoke machine I am really embarrassed. I thought I was helping.

well im stuck right at the start. so looked at walk through. says get magnet from car i cannot no matter what i try,find any magnet on  or around car.

You need something to open the boot. That's were the magnet is.
