The guard patrols between the guard hut screen and the next two screens

If you look off the screen, Alan will tell you if he can see the guard on the next screen

On two of the three screens there are places where you can hide to give the guard time to walk past

There is no work order, you have to find a way to prove the plumbing needs fixing

Ok, I must be really dense. How do I get past the 2nd guard once I've entered the kitchen??

First you'll need to get rid of the patrolling guard

Maybe a disguise is in order?

Listen carefully to the guard, once you get one thing right he'll give you hints for what to do next

I try combining the coveralls and plunger but it keeps saying he sees no point in putting them on now, no matter where I try to put them on. I can't combine anything in my inventory with the sink in the kitchen. Also, I can't figure out how to unthaw the hose. Have I missed something important?

you do not need to combine the overall and plunger in the inventory, you just need them to prove to the second guard that you are a plumber

you cannot use the hose as it is. Put the yeast on the hose and wait (go forth and back some screens). Eventually, the yeast will work on the hose, so you can use it on the guard hut

use the yeast on the hose it says I need to thaw it out first. But, when I try to put the hose on the stove, I can't. How do I thaw the hose or heat up the stove more?

I sawed off the branch and am doing fine now. Sorry!

I can't attach the hose to the tap because the tap is still frozen. I can't get rid of the first guard no matter what I try. He just keeps kicking me out and I have to start over at the moat. I've blocked up the sink with the teabag and the water is coming out brown. I can't go thru the next door...what do I do now? I'm lost! I have the yeast covered hose but it says it needs to be modified before it can be put on the thawed tap. What do I need to do to modify it?

light the branch again and thaw the tap. You can use the branch as often as you want. About the hose: I think it takes a while until the yeast modifies the hose. I searched a while in vain on different screens and suddenly the hose looked different in the inventory tab.

Thanks, I've been wandering around for quite awhile now, done everything I can do, just waiting for the hose to be usable. Do you remember how many times you had to wander between screens before it changed? It's a bit frustrating and boring waiting like this!!!

put the yeast covered hose in the fox filled moat. They bite holes in it. Then you can attach it to the tap on the guard hut. I feel so stupid, now. lol

Use the lit branch on both the tap and hose to thaw them (you'll have to light it again once you've thawed one)

Use the yeast with the hose once its thawed to cover it in yeast

Lower the yeast covered hose into the moat to get holes bitten into it by the foxes

I'm in space with the plunger, branch, key and overalls, but nothing I do seems to get me any closer to the magnifying glass to use the plunger on it.

When you turn on the tap, it's just like you have a drainage problem. Hit your plunger on the door and pretend to be someone else...
