There is an item you still need to acquire... I didn't realize it was there either... but what would you logically place on a gaping hole???

I have a question as well... how to decipher the pebble game?

The game author posted solutions to the pebble game on the completed game board.

Instructions for the pebble game are in the pdf file attached to the game, although I couldn't figure it out with them either.  It also states in the pdf that the game autosaves when you walk into a room.  Just click load on the title screen.

I'm stuck at the pebble thingie too.

Ida
Spoiler
did you manage to get over the bridge? You have to pick up the wood at the door of the house you first came out of, at first I thought they were steps but must be just a ramp, this will fix the bridge.

None of the diagrams matched what I have, the middle one is what I have which is the same as what you had  only I have

00 x 4
000 x 2
0000x 1

I don't suppose you know where I have to put my pebbles, I would like to continue with the game but am totally stuck here.

At the lights puzzle in the cave, I'm having trouble getting last part of it.

Would anyone happen to know the correct sequence?  :-\

Hi Ida

I wouldn't remember the exact sequence if my life depended on it lol. I do remember getting to the end of it and it being too short, I know I got over by walking along the top. When I got to end and realised it was too short  I think I went back to the previous light or maybe even the one before that and worked by way up and over to the right and getting to the cave opening that way.  I know it took me a little while to get it.

Just did the light puzzle again and got it in one go after reading your post! You must have been an inspiration  :)

You're right - it was actually pretty short

Over in completed games forum there is solutions to the pebble puzzle, check what numbers you have and see if they match any of these solutions. Mine didn't so I had to work it out myself.

No you don't have to be math majors, like I told Tina there is some solutions over on completed games forum. Check your numbers to see if they match any of them.

The solutions didn't work for me. I've tried it several times and nothing happens. Yes, I did it right, yes I printed it out to make sure. No, it didn't work! What is suppose to happen if you get it right??  Mine is 000x7 J.

Trying to figure out why your pebbles aren't moving lol
You pick them up from the pile of pebbles before going down the ladder so they are in your inventory and using the red curser click on the door, open your inventory and using red curser click on the pebbles then click where you want them to go. You can also remove a pebble again using red curser. Maybe the author of the game will know.

She Devil

The door will open when you get it right. Does all your other numbers match the solution for the 000x7?

The awnsers (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=19227.msg234625#msg234625) should be correct.

There is a 1 in 3 chance you get the 7xOOO puzzle.
So if you really, really sure it doesn't work, replay the game a you most likely get a other combination. I'll check the code.

I answered this for Ida on the first page of this thread but just in case you missed it.

Spoiler
The house that you came out of has wooden steps at the door, looks like a ramp more than steps,  pick it up, I think its a plank, you use that on the bridge

Joyce, Ok I got into the mine and then into the den of evil but what a strange ending. I set the tree on fire and then these weird blue things come and get me and then I'm falling through space.
I wish the game was longer, it was fun.
