If you have also closed the drawers, entered the wardrobe, closed the larger door (with you inside), used cigar on door, then yes. I guess it's a bug...

I give up.  Just spent the last hour trying to catch that darn spider.  I cant do it.  Almost got him, but after an hour almost doesnt cut it.  He came out by that spiderweb in the righthand corner on top and then when I tried to catch him. he disappeared.  Used carrot, tapped, NOthing.
Im calling it quits tonite.  I am Exhausted. ..........

The old version had a bug with the cabinet doors, where you actually have to have both doors OPEN to make the wardrode airtight.

(I was getting a little ansty b/c I couldn't use any item from a certain area without a certain key------ of which I've STILL not acquired! lol)

When spider is under the tube,  turn the carrot down to low speed, then use on his dwelling.   When it says "there it is" then click on one object to make him run into tube...... then you can capture him with another object in your inventory.

Has anyone downloaded newest game version?   There is one new "creature"  that I found and I have yet to learn its true purpose.... if there is one.      I have "killed" this creature many times trying to find "her" meaning.

Have you released spider yet?  Release him somewhere that is related to what it served in the bar......   Then a little later where you released him will no longer be there. Return to bar and talk with "ladies" there.

When you get the spider thing right, it should't be a problem to get into the wine cellar. Follow Cittymom's intructrions...

On the new version, you can lite the cigarrette in the same place you did before, but now you'll have to do something yuckie first. Read my previous posts for hints.

Okay. I know it has to do with the fly zapper in the cellar and the fly  you catch in the shrubbery...but  how do you make it so that the fly stays on the cigarette so you can zap it and light the cigarette? Do you need to find something sticky? Like spider web? [\hide]

I'm stuck in the machine thing. Apparently it controls the hotel's hot and cold water supplying. Could't burn or freeze nobody, though.  I immediately thought about the sprinkler, but no luck.

Argh! I can't play! I have to work... this is torturing.
