Could it be that you try to interact with the objects instead of taking them?
There are two hand icons: One for use (shortcut U) and one for take (shortcut T)
Right click four times to access the take mode.
Right click two times to access the use mode.
I'm stuck at the bird part too. I can't use the wire as a rope because Bobby says it's not firm enough.I have lots of things in my inventory but nothing seems to help.Can somebody give me some hints?

Yes, this was a tricky puzzle and I also needed hints to complete it. Don't forget to ask everyone about everyone else. Sometimes they'll give you a piece of useful insight (however, some hints are not obvious, so use your imagination a bit).
OK, I've stumbled my way through the puzzling world of Earl Bobby on my own till now, but I'm stuck. I got the canvass on the mole hill/ crater, but it says I don't have enough tees to tie it down. I've picked up the tee guards also but I can't combine them with the tees and I don't have enough of them to tie down the canvass either, am I missing something??

You need to create a distraction for him. It also seems that the Earl is not such a good golf player after all, and he might require some interdisciplinary help.
Remember, the puzzles ARE logical, but the game is quite absurd, so play with that in mind.

there are other items that can be used to pin down the cover, you'll find them nearby, make sure you get them all, I missed one at first.
As to the electromagnet, have you been underwater? There are many strange things in that loch, combine some things you find in the parking lot and nearby and you can make it.
The slingshot can be used if you were taller, if you had something to stand on.

The third drink might not be very important. I think the manual lists them all.
Regarding Lula, I wish I could say I can't get girls to stop following me. However, thanks to her auntie's obstinacy she is very obedient and will accept your word for it, if you tell her that she has to stay and wait.

The better club is in plain view, but it's not the wooden one. Maybe you need to talk some more to the other characters in order to find out who'd have a super golf club.

About the canvas: i've tried everything in my inventory but nothing works. I even tried several item combinations but it didn't help. The only items that work are the 3 tees and the 2 tee markers but Bobby says they are not enough and i can't combine them together. Propably i'm missing some item.
I also have trouble with the club. The only characters i can talk to are tha barman and Bimbo but when i ask about "club" or "golf" it doesn't help. I suspect Woody has the club but english isn't my mother language so i can't figure out what's the proper word to use.
So...can somebody tell me:

Ok, I need some help. I went to bed last night after playing and now I've returned to the game I've sort of lost sight of my objectives.
I have:

got Tiger to set up a contest with me
worked out that I somehow need to get some rubber off Tiger's tyre to make the slingshot but not sure what with
Played with the lawnmower blade a bit but not sure what to use it with
blown up the molehill and overlayed the elastic and pinned it down but not exactly sure what the point of that is
Right now I'm just wandering the golf course in vain. Can anyone give me a hint as to what to do next. Doesn't have to be a series of answers to all those puzzles, just something that will point me in the right direction and maybe open up some new possibilities that I've missed.

Practise at the driving range when Woody is in it. Aim for a "perfect" shot, i.e., stop the shoot power bar at the starting point. If nothing happens, then maybe you need to mingle with Woody's stuff first. Perhaps Bimbo can tell you something about his bag?
To snatch a ball from the bag or to put it back in it, read on:
Wait until Woody is looking away after he's driven a ball. Just a typical A Three-headed Monkey Behind you puzzle.

1st What the heck do I do with the burning match after smoking the funny cigarette? I am eternally stuck in the clouds. Lucky I have a saved game that I can keep playing on. Any hints on what to do with the lit match, besides batting it around? I see a circle of butterflies and that be it. 2nd What do I say aboutÃ, the mole to get some reaction? 3rd Do I need a magnet? 4th I have met Nessy.

I tried jumping and everything on the match thing, I am still stuck there. I did manage to go past the nessy. duh, I didn't go far enough. I also was able to make a trampoline; not that I am sure what to use it for at this point. As for getting up the mountin I believe you need to make the toilet brush sticky with possibly honey (which I am not able to get because of the smoke puzzle) and another device mixed with something else also.

Try to catch the butterflies quickly to get across. Hopefully the match will follow and impact with something it can light. Then go as far east as you can and find something frogs like to sit on to go across.
I've already been up the mountain and found the ball from lilac's help. Just stuck where Carl is trying to get the Woody match to work so I can get a club for my ball.

Everything seems to be set up but I can't get tiger to start the match with me. I've tried talking to him and his Caddie about it but tiger sends me away without talking to me and the Caddie tells me very little about anything. How do I start this match?

I did the practice thing and hit him with the ball very early on, at which point he challenged me to the match. But I can't get him to actually start playing the match. I've tried practicing driving next to him again and got very good at hitting the swing-o-meter mark but this results in nothing. So, he's already challenged me but how do I make him actually come and play the match?

Or is it something to do with the electromagnet, since I assumed the ball would land in the loch rather than next to it

Right, in order to bring light to the molehill you need to find something bright. More specifically:

Ich weiss nicht, wo du das Deutsche Spiel finden kannst, aber ich weiss, dass Baron Mucki in dem ClubHouse ist, wo der Telescope ist. Entschuldigung fur meinen Deutsch, ich bin Italiener.

Um das Spiel auf Deutsch zu spielen, man muss winsetup.exe starten und Deutsch oder „Default“ unter „Language“ auswählen.
To play the game in German, run winsetup.exe and select German or "Default" as the language.

We can hardly help you if you don't tell us where you're stuck. I suggest you read this thread from the beginning, so you see how to put more useful questions. You might even find the hints you need.

I placed the trampoline and the tee things on the crater. But if I challenge Woody the ball although don`t reach the Pin. What else do I need to win the match?

I have been on the hill, put the trampolin and tilted the silver plate. The ladies are sitting in the restaurant and Woody challenged me. But I can't build a slingshot. There is no hotspot on the cars that I can use to get some rubber (I saw a hint about the tyres in this forum).
Where do you find the bird, or get to the mountain???
I have tried the telescope but it doesnt work to find the bird?

you removed the telescope from the pedestal? If so, use it where the gardener is and point it to the mountains. For the mountain, you have to combine a few items to get sticky feet. You find them in the toilet, in the pond and in the beehive.

Ok, I just found the reason for the bug.
To evoid the bug you should visit the parking lot before you wash
Woody's ball.

I am at a loss on how to go further. I have gotten to the point where I need a club to hit the ball, I have built the electromagnet and the trampoline, and knocked out Mary. I have also poured honey onto the ground. How do I win the tournament? I assume it has something to do with Lula, because there is nothing else left in the game, but I'm not sure what to do.
Has anyone made a walktrough for this game?
I still don't know what I am suppose to say or ask to the golf assistant who is sitting on the bench wich is near the golf player Tiger. And how am I suppose to get the ball from the mountain and the engine from the car.
I guess nobody are playing this game now but me and those who have already won the game has empty their own memories from the game or forgot how to finish this game. :'(

I have pu the yellow cloth on crater and have tried to use pegs bit he keeps saying there is not enough. I have taken tees from bag, tee sign and tees markers - and tried using all 3 items with no use - what else do I need?[\hide]

you need that sign at the tee. It has two pointy nails on the bottom as you can see... then you need a total of three pegs (two from the bag and one from the floor) and finally two yellow tee markers and that should be enough to fix the elastic foil on the crater. Simply use one of the three items on the foil.
