I got key from street, key for room and sauna but cannot get out of lobby to go to blue doors.
Is it a bug or am I missing something? ???
You have to go IN the sauna, get the key card for the elevator, go up to the next floor, go to the janitors closet, get the key to 111, get the key to 112, go through the emergency exit, get the crow bar, pry up the loose tile, get the blue lobby key, go out the yellow lobby front doors, and into the blue lobby. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. If something is off, sorry.

Use your keycard on ice machine you will get another key.

Use the B.R. (Boiler Room) key that is found in the street in front of the Hotel on the uhh... Boiler Room. The stairs are blocked off and can't be used.
PS- WOW! I haven't posted anything here for, like, a year now!
I am having trouble saving and restoring this game. I have tried all the F keys and control with letter keys. Please tell me how to save or load a game. Thank you
I'm pretty sure you can't save or load games in Hotel Hansen. I'm not 100% on that, because I don't remember what I did way back then, and I don't want to start up my crappy computer to go check. I think if it WAS possible, it would be F5 to save, and F7 to load. I recall something about it would be too easy (yes, even easier than it is now) if you could save it, so I disabled it... I wanted the player to have to play all the way through with no stops. Halloween, on the other hand, you CAN save and load, but apparently nobody knows how, so here it is: Save- Ctrl+S, and Load- Ctrl+L, just like every single other windows program. I guess Load is actually Ctrl+O, but you get the idea.

I liked your game and thought you were pretty clever to come up with it. I was wondering about the sequel though?

Actually, there was no "official" sequel, but the unofficial sequel is Halloween (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/games.php?action=detail&id=296). It's a completely different game, but you end up having to pay your friends $200 bill at the Hotel Hansen after you sell the bum your candy and inventory items, so they tie together in the end. It's kinda cheesy, I know. Sorry! Maybe I should make a sequel to the game, eh? Anyone wanna help me? I don't want to do all the work myself again. What kind of help are you looking for?
I don't know and/or really care... Any will do... drawing, MOSTLY scripting since I suck so immensely at it, etc.
