I played this a while ago and I can't remember much but I think you buy cereal in the store with the coins, when you get cereal have a look in the box, there is an alleyway in one of the screens maybe you haven't found that yet, there is a trashcan and I think this is where you will need the slingshot, then you get something in the trash that will help you get rid of the guy outside the store. Also have a good look at the windchimes hanging from the tree near the hobo. Maybe this will help you out a little.

well it looks like you need a bowl to eat it in?????? Did you get past that guy yet standing outside the store that sells bowls?
yes, I can go to shop without problems, but the seller don't want to give me the bowl and I can't steale it. so what now?
