Title: In the Jungle with Leisure Suit Larry

I am at the point where I must cross the quicksand. I look for vines to swing across on, but I can't find them. Any help/hints/suggestions?

There are bright patches on the quicksand (colors differ on different computers), like footprints. Follow them and you won't drown!
