Finished the game. I don't think I would ever have guessed that. Still doesn't make a lot of sense but oh well...

I have to admit that I found the first thing a bit unreasonable myself, but

I didn't want to use look because I thought that's too straightforward. Also picking up once was supposed to be in a way that suggests that she didn't want to be longer under the bed because of the coughs and it might be worth trying it out again...

But I thought number 2 and 3 are fine. Would you have preferred to

a) get the items by looking under the bed or
b) get the brush immediately when looking under the bed (i.e. not necessary to do repetitions) or
c) get the brush immediately when picking up under the bed (i.e. not necessary to do repetitions)

I also thought about calling the button "pick up/search", but that didn't fit

What I found illogical was to

. I still can't see why that makes sense. How do you pick up an area of the room? I didn't have an issue that you had to do it several times until exhausted or what you had to do with the item you find there. I agree that Look is too obvious but maybe there could have been another way to make it challenging to find the required item that's more logical.

Other than that, it was a GREAT first game and fun to play, so thank you and congrats!
