Melrin 1

Hey guys, I'm currently playing Melrin 1, and I'm stuck on the Air Crystal part.

I have all the ingredients and the bowl, but whenever I try to combine them it says that it's not a good idea and you can't put it in the bowl either. Do I have to mash them up or something?

I saw someone say that there was a glitch, but whether I open up my Inv from Tab or mouse it still says the same thing.
