I'm stuck on the piano puzzle. I've read the sign but can't make head nor tail of it.
Any hints from anyone?

Me too I'm stuck here.

If we take a look on note, we see red letters and I presume this is order to key on keyboard.

But where to key it on keyboard?

I guest someone in music knowledge will be usefull.

Piano puzzle,
For the musical illiterate.

The red letters are the notes you need to play.The yellow dot marks the first octave of notes where you start this is a C, then DEFGAB are the white keys the right of yellow dot. After this the notes repeat only 1 octave up. Use the numbers as the number of red letters to play then the arrrows tell you go up or down an octave (8 keys) but from your current C not your current note.
So you start at the Yellow C, and play E,E,G then find the C two octaves up, and play E, E, E, find the C 1 octave down from the last C, and play E A E, etc.

This is not all. You will find more items. If you walked around with wings and a gown, people wouldn't want to talk to you. BTW the rope is to hide your wings.

You translated the paper? Did you look up an unknown word in the encyclopedia? This should answer the third question. Did you find out how Simon left the city? And did you find his diary?

I must be stupid or something, but I am stuck at the very beginning.

I have the rope, stick, encyclopedia, combined two pieces of paper, and my diary. I translated the phrase to see that humans could kill an angel. I've talked to the 3 angels I can in the library, room with pedestal, and in hallway. I can't seem to find any other areas to visit, nor puzzles to solve. I'm really confused right now.

So you took two books in the library? You tried to open the door to Simons room (you can't do it yet)? You used the encyclopedia to translate the unknown word in the paper?

Talk to the angel in the room with the pedestal (Michael). Exhaust all dialogs and then say that you want to see if the key was still in the pedestal. Michael says "you are a liar". Say "yes" and you get one half of the key and you can open the pedestal.
