I can't figure out how to get the crocodile whistle.Ã,  So far I have found 5 treasures and died 12 times.Ã,  I think i've accessed almost every location except the area past the crocodiles and the thick jungle next to the start screen which I'm not sure I can access anyway.

I thought you had to steal the whistle from the store.  I forgot that the artist could make it for me

I have the eggplant emerald, jeweled flamingo, ruby medallion, golden butterknife, ruby leech, and Farr diamond.  I'm not sure where the last treasure is - when I take the crown I end up dying so I don't think that's one of the treasures.  Is the seaweed used for anything?  That's the only thing in my inventory (other than the blue cup) that hasn't been used

i have to make the butterfly net sticky so that i can catch the butterfly.  I would appreciate a hint because I have tried all that my mind could think of, but unfortunately i am missing something.......Thank you

You need to use the metal rod on the generator at the bottom of the cave, then use this in spring, then take what you get to the Spider cave. I'll leave the rest to you.

Icant find the generator (what cave?) If I go into the batcave I get killed. So I do have the metal rod but all I have is a propeller and do not know where the generator is.

Have you entered the cave where you captured the butterfly?  You should be able to enter it if you have the lantern.

No I dont hve the lantern...... Thats why I keep getting killed.

Have you found a way to make the hot air balloon yet? The artist gives you hints on what you need to make it - something to hold the hot air (like a balloon), a propeller, a generator, and a fuel source.Ã,  You need to have all thos things in your inventory to finish the game.Ã, 

never even thought of that.....Yes I will try to find some more things.  I think I only have 3-4  forgot about the balloon

do you have those things that I listed above - something to form a balloon with (like a large sheet), an alternator, the propeller, the compass, and a fuel source.  I think those numbers mean that you have found 3 treasures and have died 8 times - those numbers won't affect you actually finishing the game but it will change the end sequence that you get to see (the higher your score, the better the ending).

I don't have a sheet or fuel source.  HELP 

I cant seem to do anything in the village with those huts.
I cant seem to do anything in the graveyard or with the lava place

Am I suppose to be able to????  I have put the game aside because I am getting no further. 

Have you already been captured by the cannibals?  If you've gotten, past that part there isn't anything more to do in the village (but there is a treasure in the village that you can get.

In the graveyard: make sure that you look at all of the graves AND talk to the android about all of them.  There is something buried in one of the graves that will help you make the hot air balloon.  You can't dig directly on the grave without getting killed.  You will need protection for your head and something thorny to mark the grave with so you know which one to dig.  Talk to the artist for more clues about how to dig in the right grave.

The lava pool: is for use later.  You can capture the hot air in what you dig up from the grave to make the balloon.

Fuel source: You need to beat the store owner at insult winetasting.  You will need a game manual in order to do this.  Try digging on the red X if you haven't already done so.

All of these clues should help you complete the game  :)

got book and played game and won. Got botte for fuel.  Captured in village,died.  Can't find anything in village though.  Have not been able to do anything in cemetary, I guess I have to use what I find in village????  I cant get that hat in the village if that is what I am suppose to put on in cemetary.  I don't know.  I am so blank on what to do next. 

Get captured again in the village,  then while you are in the pot,  add one of your inventory items to the broth...........after you get returned to the villiage, examine the skull again.      After this, you will have an item you can give Monique in exchange for the bucket.    Talk to Monique, he will give you hints about things to try in the cemetary. 

well that didnt work.... I have

wine, eggplant,flamingo,rose, knife, camera. whistle, seaweed,rugy leech, picture, shovel, lantern, magnatized rod, compass, engine and manual.... And I guess I need something else because none of these went into the pot/

Yep, you need the mushroom...... I think that was in the "question box"  at the "ruins" scene (where the crown is showing in the stone)

I hope now I can get that mushroom without too much trouble. I remember putting the hand icon on it and getting nothing.

I just did that I stood by the rock with the crown on it.  DID you push the rock that I just mentioned yet>>????? It goes near the question box.  Anyway, then I just used the hand icon on it and the mushroom popped out.


Citimom.,..... I am stuck again, I thought it would be so easy, I went to the cemetary and stuck the pail over my head and went to each grave, but nothing happened.  What am I doing wrong now???

One of grave's descriptions mentions " he took something to the grave with him"........     put the rose on that stone.... then put the bucket on and dig where you put the rose 

I did put the bucket on my head after placing the rose on the grave, but when everything went black, I didnt realize that I could go into inventory and get the shovel.  I finished the game, but with only 4 treasures and 8 points on the bottom. So I think I left out lots of stuff.  Thanks for all your help. I was so fustrated trying to figure out so many things.

  I think the Gold Coin was one of the treasures, and I should have avoided losing it in the coin slot......maybe that is what the seaweed was for.    I intend to replay and see what happens.

(1) light match; (2) go into mine without lantern; (3) eat the pills; (4) run into the lava; (5) die in the cannibal's pot (before adding the mushroom to the pot); (6) get eaten by the man-eating tree; (7) enter the spider cave before using the beer; (8 ) get eaten by crocodiles; (9) take the crown; (10) eat the mushroom; (11) get bitten by the butterfly (catch it before using the spider web); (12) drown in the quicksand; (13) dig in the cemetary without protection

(1) jewelled flamingo: in mouth of statue at start screen; (2) ruby medallion: in hot coals (use the metal rod); (3) gold coin: in garbage can outside trading post (tie the seaweed to the coin before using the dispenser so you can keep the coin); (4) ruby leech: in the rose's petals; (5) crystal goblet: in skull (after spiking the cannibal's pot); (6) Farr diamond: dig in area next to quicksand; (7) golden butterknife: from dispenser (remember to use the seaweed with the coin)

How do you get past the quicksand?

  I believe what you need was in the trashcan near the trading post .... read description 

Oswald won't start flying away for home until he has the compass. Hence, the game is unwinable without it.

How do I get past the quicksand?

Take the pills out of the garbage can near the trade outpost and put them in the quicksand. If you're unclear on this solution, show Dinh inside the outpost the pills and he'll talk about them.

How do you make the balloon with the parachute? I've gotten all items, all treasures, and all deaths, but I need to know how to make a balloon so I can finish the game.

click the undeployed parachute on the lava.

That's what I did, but now I'm up in the air, and don't what to do next. I tried everything up there, and haven't a clue what to do.
