Songo- Last Name

It's interesting how no one ever gets stuck at the same parts of the game as I do.  After I try everything I can think of I look at the posts to find answers before I post one myself because I don't want to bug people but the posts always skip over the very parts I need help with

Anyway, what's the trick to figuring out Magnolia's last name?  I've tried to talk to Wally in the bar and she asks him about his head???  If that's supposed to be a hint it really doesn't help me.  And the only clue that Magnolia gives herself is that it's not a flattering name.

I've basically clicked on every name that came up on the phone directory and none of them were right so obviously there is something else to this puzzle I'm not picking up on.

On the pier, where Magnolia is on guard. I don't remember the exact spot, but somewhere there should be a notice or paper or list or whatever listing the guards' duty hours, which contains full names of them. Prolly you need to read that first before her real last name appear in the dialog option.

must tell you, i've past that part, but never find last name or list of names...on the fon, I supose, I was lucky...
in second try I  find right last name, it was one that looks to me that was on the first list of last  names too..maybe this will help?
