I am still stuck in space quest 0.Radiant said to use the
salt on the slime devil to get the traffic boot off the space
ship.But cannot find the salt .Can someone please help

Human sweat contains salt.

You can get sweat by

using the exercise machine

dry yourself with the towel

And there's a machine to extract salt from that,

This puzzle is a bit obtuse but actually it's kind of well-explained if you had read all the books/computers/stuff in the game so far.
