When the seer let you look into the crystal ball you should have seen the crown toppling down etc. If you have done all the other tasks like giving the keys to the angel so that she can use air balloon, when you go back to the fountain, it should say now I know what to do, then the policemen should show up. I just can't think of what you haven't done.

Have you tried approaching the fountain yet? Do the policemen appear? Did you talk to the demon at the front gate? Has he given you any info about a tunnel of some sort?

Sorry...that possibility actually did occur to me when I was posting, and I considered trying to avoid any gendered pronouns, but that was awkward enough that I decided to just play the odds and gamble that you were probably male.  Apparently, I lost.

Putting your gender in your profile might help people avoid this mistake in the future, though.
