have got rope, horn, map but cant go into wilderness so where is the "block puzzle that others are talking about?

if you have the map you should be able to go to the wilderness.
the block puzzle is there.

BLOCK PUZZLE IDEA
the only way i managed to work it out was to cut up squares of paper marked like the blocks and put them together like a jigsaw puzzle so i knew where the blocks would have to go. then it was just a matter of moving them around to fit my diagram. potch you might want to try it. seems some of us can't visualize as well as others. i usually need a hand with these puzzles too. the blank stone doesn't move at all.

I have MAP, HORN, ROPE and a few other items.  When i try to go into the wilderness it tells me I need a map or something but I already have it!

you must move the blocks so that they connect upper cannal with two lower cannals

If you have at least 1 coin, buy a map, and go to ruins, then check the Daniels backpack on the floor, you will get some stuff that you can sell and buy a rope

What is the alternate way to kill the monster at the end?  The only way I can figure out is to use the steam.  How does one get into that room with the force field on it to the right of the crystal machine as well?

Alternative to kill a monster is to go back and try to avoid it and go outside where the teleport rings are, then wait until he is close to the rings and teleport him away ! Voila, go inside and force field is gone. ! But stay alert !

I was letting it chase me all over the place, including the outside areas.  Never thought of the teleporter though.  Genius!

eh, im still on the 1st planet where u start. i broke through the wall, and saw the five signs which looks like the signs on a large rock on the edge of the cliff.

what am i suppose to do?
i tried putting that metal thingy i picked up in the jail cell into the slot, but he wont.
