Seems like I'm stuck in a moment I can't get out of (you too?)

Spoiler
In no particular order: I entered the museum, translated the glyphs, found the coins under the couch, moved the planet with Kermit's arm.

Now, I'm trying to power up the 'space radio' to no avail. Dang!

Spoiler
You actively turned off power in the course of actions, to get where you are. You need to turn it back on again.

I have
Spoiler
talked to the Sphinx of Black Quartz

I suppose now I need
Spoiler
to get the piece of quartz from the captain but he has drifted in space. And I can't start the spaceship.
[close]

What should I do?

Thanks

Babar

Spoiler
The piece of quartz is gone forever, that will not be able to help you anymore. You need to find some other way to help the Sphinx

Ugh, I feel foolish.

I was able to solve the rest by myself.
The puzzles were good. The story was odd but entertaining.
I never know what to expect from your games.

Spoiler
Universal coins and outlets that work at the other side of the galaxy...a traveler's dream.

The only thing I didn't like very much was the gloomy piano music. Each their own.

Wow, you got a lot further than me!

Which planet did you move and how did you get Kermit's arm?

Wow, thanks! I would never have seen that!

I've spent a ton of time wandering around the game trying to find something to do but I am still completely stuck.

Spoiler
I used the arm and got the sky to shift, but I don't see anything new to do to progress.

Have you already

Quoteturned on the power for the device right of the head-in-jar?
- no, the only hint it gives is that you need a closer look.

QuoteYou have found the coins, right?

Yes.

QuoteHave a close look at those blinking stars - where to they appear?

Arm up - one is outside the museum and one visible from the museum wall
Arm down - one is visible from the museum.

Thank you

Spoiler
So, I found all 4. I assume that the shape of the window corresponds to the shape of the button. This only holds true for the triangle, though. None of the other ones correspond to any of the button shapes.

Button puzzle:
You have to

see what may correspond if you rotate them. Taking a picture with your phone may make it easier.

Spoiler
I thought of rotating and taking a picture with my phone. None of them match the shape of the window. Is there something else I should be trying to match?

Edited to add: WHAM posted a walkthrough so I cheated using his solution. Thanks to everyone who helped!

Phone or paper, it doesn't matter
Spoiler
When you have powered up the machine, you can insert coins and press buttons, which will light up in green. Look at the groups of buttons. What do they remind you of?
[close]

Spoiler
For example the buttons at the lower left form a row and look like the windows in the starship where the game started. Shift the horizon up and down and you will find a blinking star in one of the windows. This tells you, which button on the row in the lower left you have to press
[close]

Next
Spoiler
The blinking stars appear in a window that belongs to a group of windows. Some windows are only separated by a small frame. Draw the groups and mark the window where you found a blinking star. Now it should be obvious
[close]

Spoiler
Some groups of windows are rotated but looking at the number of windows (3, 4, 5) and how many triangles, rectangles, etc. it should be easy to find the correct button to press
[close]

But !
Spoiler
For one group you will not find a blinking star, no button to press. Anyway, after pressing the correct buttons in the other groups automatically progresses the game
