A message to the webmaster of that site got this response:
"As I have said to another person asking the same thing, I have removed the
download from my server as it was a space and bandwidth issue. I was not
aware it was the sole download of the game, but I have not heard word from
ratracer about this issue..
Sorry for inconvieniences, and I will inform you of the download location
once it has been arranged."
Is it possible for someone to send me the game, while the situation is being worked out? Leave me a message.

I've the game myself, but it's impossible to send it to yu by email: most have a max email size of 1 mb, and also max capacity of most emails is 2-5 MB.
I also read Ratracer's email won't be available for a while. But go here and post your problem in Ratracer's guestbook:

Potch, there has got to be a way to save, I played this a long time ago and it is quite a long game so I am sure I had to save, I think I still have it on my computer, I will go have a look and let you know

Its hard to figure out just where you are because I have looked at walkthrough and now I see there is two places where they are dark rooms. The walkthrough is here maybe you should check on it.

Sorry I couldn't be more help not sure why Susan is up in the air lol, but maybe if you check the walkthrough you will see something you have done wrong or something you haven't done that you should have
I was using the walkthrough when I needed it. I'm in the first dark room where you put the key together and use it to make the crate move to show the stairs going down. After I put the key parts together she was up in the air. Thanks anyway for your reply. J.

that is so strange, do you not have a saved game close to that point where you could start from and try again. I would hate to have to start from the beginning.
Nope, no other saved game, that is my one and only. I started playing yesterday afternoon and played up until that room and got stuck. And you know what they say about games, save often. Judy
