I'm behind the smaller width of the left column. I have the loaded syringe but everytime I try to jab him with it, he sees me - although I haven't moved. This starts a brief dialogue and then I can try again.

Can't overcome this problem, am I doing something wrong or is it just a matter of trial and error?

Sure you don't move? Because that happened to me once and I tryed again. I awaited until he stop walking, then a gave him the sedative. Or maybe is just an error... But try waiting until the animation ends...

I moved the cursor and ended up placing Susan at the top end of the left pillar nearest to the corner of the room - does that make sense to you? (see below, p = pillar, S = Susan!)

I guess it was working ok. If she wasn't in the right place Pete would tell her to get out...
