Carver Island 2 got all pieces of barracuda

I got all 4 pieces of the barracuda and watched scene where the triumverate tell me to meet them at coral reef in 1/2 hour 

according to the walkthru i looked at i should just talk to them, watch a scene, and then part III would start

nothing happened, i talked to everyone several times used all my items on all my other items -- am i missing something? do i have to go find some obscure item ill need in part three?


also, on a side note: is there any way i can restore my saved game without watching the opening credits every time i run the game? I mean it was cute the first time, mildly amusing the second time, not totally objectionable the third time, but by the twelfth time it was down right annoying

I don't remember exactly, but I think you should take the boat to Coral Reef. Something will happen on course.

Nope, I went straight there after they told me to meet them there in 1/2 hour

after going island to island i finally talked to the monkey, i thought that might make the difference but it didn't

ok i went through the whole game over again and you were right
the cut scene starts right after i leave the triumverate officeÃ,  EXCEPT.....

i had to find the pieces in a different order, getting anything but the fin last

that way i could go to the national skip day party BEFORE I took all the pieces to the triumverate

i hadn't done that the first time so i guess the game has a glitch

I'm playing Carver Island 2 and am stuck in part 1. I can't find a history book to give to the guard.
