What to do with the droid? I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

I've got the shard and the wig. I think I need a moustache and something to make me look different.

Use the wig with Ulysses, then touch the exposed cord. Now you can use the shard with the fried wig.

just curious...

when you beat the game is it supposed to say you finished it in a horrible horrible way?

restore restart quit?

or is there another ending
