Title: Sprite Jam, Jan. 9th - 16th
Post by: TheYak on Sat 10/01/2004 03:36:12
For some reason I got picked.  Unfortunately I am in a !#%@ mood and had a dozen @#%!# things go wrong today.  Too many @#$% @#%!'s have eaten away at my !@#$.

So, your topic this time around is things that piss you the !#%!# off.  It can be pet-peeves, irritating things in general - anything from zombies gnawing on your nethers to sickeningly cute things like rabbits & kittens.  The easier it is to tell why it pisses you off, the better.

Resolution: 125x125 or smaller
Colors: 16 or less (not counting transparency)

And no, not giving you 9 days like the generous Kaaz.  You get a standard week.  7 days (not counting today).

Thank you for your support.

Edit: Let's keep it civil.  So, if you're going to portray something specific (A person, a country, an organization, etc.) try and make a pic of what they do or how they act that irritates you and let's leave out specific names.

Body kits and rims are nice, but those big stupid spoilers people put on cars are pointless. And neon green/baby blue cars are ugly.

Have to definately side with you on this one.  Saw a Honda Accord (An Accord!) with a 1.5 ft spoiler.  WTF?  Here's an idea, let's take a non-sporty (or semi-sporty) car, paint some racing stripes on it, give it kick-ass rims, a spoiler & drop it so it rides 2 inches off the ground.  Why not?  [If you ask yourself that question, just kill yourself.  Now.]

Whenever I see these people driving around (and this probably isn't the safest thing so I don't recommend it) I always point and laugh.  Then, if they look over at me I usually say, "You're just too fast too furious!"  ** said in a totally condescending manor **

I can't stand this 'underground' racing shit ... it's rediculous!  I have a great idea, lets (as Yak said) take an already ugly car, make it uglier, and also make it 10 times louder.  Gosh ... I'm cool.

Well I'm off to see the movie Torque ...

People playing loud music in their car at 300mph.

It's nothing to do with the fact that he has a chick and I don't........oh no.......

I was gonna give the car a spoiler, but I thought 'nah, it's been done...'

I play my music fairly loudly, but only on the highway.  What I hate are the bastards who play high-bass "music" while driving through residential areas (usually at 40 mph in a 25 zone).  It doesn't help my disposition much that most of our neighbors blast mariachi music during the daylight hours.

Sometimes people don't like to decide the winner 'til the next morning - gives possible entrants a last minute chance to enter.

/me raises his glass

Good luck, fellow entrants!

Well, going by Greenwich Mean Time, it would be the end of the 16th in another half hour.  Unfortunately, I have to leave for work soon so I'll pick one in about 3 hours.  Time Zones are a bitch, I #@% hate time zones.

Okay, a little later than planned (had a @#$^%!# of a day today).  ScottDoom, I choose you.  You dredged up a painful thought that I hadn't been pissed about in some time and nearly managed to push me over the edge.
I really dug Earlwood's style on that sub but felt it was more of a controversial issue kind of submission rather than a pet peeve kind-of-thing.  Besides, I'm not sure what about pulling a fetus' spine out using alligator clips pisses you off.  Veryweird guy got 6 bonus points for the nifty animation but gets -372 for doing a subject I disagree with (now if it had been a residential area...).
Hotspot had a nice idea and communicated it perfectly but he gets only 1 point total because of effort.

Now to think of the next topic...
