Hi everybody.
I just want to make an announcement to my new game.
It's been finished right now.
You can download it under: http://www.vyran.de/henk/henk_lic.exe
or
visit this site's games forum.
Have fun.

What's it about?
Played it, very nice little game. A few bugs
Spoiler
After you get rid of the mouse, and talk to the hole, there is still a squeek. And when you go upstairs you should make a script that will let you go up if you have the inventory item.
Not bug, but problem. Your inventory items don't show where they are active, and it seemed there was a pixel hunt to get the batton to hit the stair support. And yes it's a short game, but try to always have a menu screen before the intro.
Other than that, graphics were pretty good. And it had its funny bits.

it is a good short game with nice graphics!
the main problem is the intro: can I skip it?
...and I think that you should'nt use a black backgroud with just the swith and the window: i thank that it was a bug!...why do you put instead of this "black screen" a view of the whole house (outdoor)?
Nice little game, interesting puzzles, cute graphics. I liked it :)
I'm stuck allready.
Can someone give me a hint ont the mouse situation?
Oh, and with your next game please add a save/load option.
save/load options are available: F5/F7...but you need to pass the intro (multi-clicks to skip dialogs).
I also think you should clean up around the character, i kept on having to walk away because when i clicked on things to the side of him it gave the effect of clicking on him
Maybe we should stop pointing to errors/problems of the game ::)
It is a good first-try game...I think that the sequel will be much better (and longer) ;)
Keeping making good games!

Well, that's a problem I never figured out.
I don't get it, why.
THANK YOU ALL for your comments!
It really helps me!
The thing with the intro is a stupid fault I oversaw.
Sorry, for that, I will correct that.
The save/load thing: I thought that this game is too short for such a functionality, but I won't delete those functions again, as I learned now. :-)
Thanx again, Thoto

Just check the "pixel perfect click detection" box in general settings

In answer to the "why":
When you examine something, Henk walks over it.
Then if you want to do something with it, you have to switch to walk, walk away, then switch back to action mode, and do whatever it was you wanted to do in the first place.
I suggest making look, use, etc make him walk next to it, not on top of it.
I liked the game. It was like "Little Johnny Nice".

Maybe giving constructive advice and comments is something Thoto appreciates.
Sure, you're right when you talk about constructive comments.
However, maybe giving positive comments is ALSO something Thoto appreciates ;)

Yes, I did, but it didn't fix the problem...?!

Well, I think I wrote a missunderstanding posting there (my german is better, I suppose :) ).
I KNEW about this problem and wanted to fix it, but I has no idea how to do it. I always thought, checking this "Perfect pixel detection" thing would perform well.
But, thank you for your suggestion, that'll be a good workaround, I think!

Thank you MillsJROSS,
that were good points!!
One more thing,
could you please vote for this game after playing it?
It's located in the short games section.
That would be nice!
Regards, Thoto
