Well with my live report, it's just like being there! In fact, you don't have to suffer from that dreadful smell!

Congradulations to all the winners and nominees, and thanks to everyone that voted for the Byzantine demo.

And kudos to Deegee for putting so much time and effort into running this for the third year.

Great job DG, and congrats to all winners. It was really fun to watch and I was really excited when it came time to announce the best music... :P

Yeah, that was a complete surprise to me. I thouhgt, the major "enemy" is Fatman - apprentice hardly has any music in it, but then POW!

I'd like to second DarkStalkey in congratulating all the winners and nominees, and in fact everyone who's made a game this year. Let's not forget, making games is why we're all here :)

And again, DGMacphee has done a terrific job in organising the awards for another year (not to mention staying up until 5:30am to present them), so thanks are in order all round.

Finally, I'm flattered to have been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, so thankyou very much. The next version of AGS may not have the MakeMyGame feature, but I'll do my darnedest to add a MakeMyTea command.

Woo, that was fun. I dont think there was enough time for applause though. People cant type anything interesting or significant in such a short time between announcing the winner and the 2 secons of applausee :P.
Too bad many people missed their winning, but anyway, it was really fun and excited, and now I'm exhausted :P. Too bad Grr and TUM didnt win anything :)

Also, conratulations to everyone, to CJ, and thanks to DG for organising! :)

I couldn't stay up for it, but congrats to all the winners.

The results seem to be what I expected and probably pretty close to how I voted, It was good to see 5 Days get the top awards, it was by far the best game of the ones running, well done Yahtzee if you are around.

I guess former Tierra (AGDI) gave everyone a year off before cleaning up with Q4GII next year

Captain Mostly is going to kill me....but thanks to everyone who voted for my game, you all rock more than that hot chick on that old ac-dc video...You know the one...

And congrats to everyone, you all rock and make this place rock...

Once again, a stellar job DGMacphee.  I still can't believe you were up at 4am doing this.  Kudos to you.

And thanks to everyone who voted for BoE!  I seriously wasn't expecting to win anything.  Joey hardly appeared in the game, and the game isn't even really "complete" per se, and yet it won for "Best Supporting Character" and "Best Story."  I am touched.  Thanks everyone.  You made my day. :-D

Joey's pretty happy too.  Check it out.

I was expecting VPET 2 to win cause both you guys were working on it.

However, I'll just say that the difference in votes between VPET 2 and Mittens Shooter was very slim.

And thank you all for coming -- It was fun.

What dissapointed me was the lifetime achievement award and it's shameless pandering to political correctness gone mad. This cheap sop to the English minority group just because they lost an empire [and many other things] is ludicrous and the PC thugs must be stopped.

Oh man, while you bastards were living it up and eating fine caviar at the awards ceremony, I spent the day at work feeling sick and then when I got to my moms work after she picked me up, I got sick, all night, really bad, and now I'm home and still sick, and I can't eat, and I feel woozy, and my head hurts and I just learned that they stopped showing Young Indy on TV where I live, on the first sunday that I have ever gotten to stay home and watch young indy, and now I feel even crappier and I think I'm gonna vomit onto the keboajsdtojpp;aaaggghhhhhrrg

I think it's hilarious that CJ had to wait so many years to get this "life-time achievement" award.

Judges back in 2001: "Nah, CJ hasn't done efforts enough to win that award. Let him fix bugs for yet some years!"

They are located in the heart of Hollywood and were aired LIVE on CNN.

Hahahahhahahahhaahhahahaahahah!  ;D

Sorry, I just had to do it. It's an underground community mate. They were 'aired' live on an IRC chat channel.
