Title: walkable areas
Post by: on Tue 06/04/2004 11:17:26
why my character keeps passing through thin unwalkable areas in walkable areas?

is there a minimum number of pixels to define a (un)walkable area?

is so, is there a way to know if a charater will pass through without testing it?
and....is there a way to make thins unwalkable areas?

(for "unwalkable area" i mean an area not marked as walkable)

thx

Cisco

Walkable areas should BE at least 3 pixels wide, I guess that's true for "unwalkable areas" as well.

Moreover, it depends on the walking "speed" of characters, if they move fast, better draw the areas thicker.

Right, added/altered to the BFAQ.

BTW, Cisco, you do realize that it's spelled "gigawatts", right? ;) (In your sig.)

it actually can be spelled either way. That gif is from bttf.com, and they've answered that question and decided on that variation.
but its all good
