Moderators, I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread for this or if you wanted them all together. Feel free to collect them up.

Hmmm is it the same version as contained in the orow ZIP file? In that case I won't download it since I have it already.

Started playing your game,,,,quit it for awhile and then downloaded KQ4 - Here today, gone to yesterday.  So then when I went back into your game to reload it and continue, I get the reload from KQ4 instead.  So I cannot finish your game.
Did you know there was this bug involved?????

Gilbert,
I made a few hotspots bigger and added a couple of hints here and there but it's basically the same.

Rosie,
Did you install them both in the same directory?
I don't see how that would happen otherwise.
I'm afraid I can't help you in any case... sounds pretty odd!

Sounds like Rosie is playing the games directly from the zip files (thus putting the  unpacked files in the same temp directory).

PLEASE GIVE US ANOTHER ONE SOON, MAYBE LONGER, AND MORE ROOMS/SPACES TO WORK.

CONGRATULATIONS.

Is it just me that can't beat it. There's got to be something to do with that dog. That vapour cloud is so convenient, but what to do? Oh, what to do?

Go to the 'Hints' forum, you will find lots of answers.  I completed the game but asked a few questions on the 'hints' and Steve was quite fast to answer.

Good luck.  It is a good game.

It's a great game, Steve!
I liked everything, but principally the way you used one "room" to show many places at the same time. It was a very good idea!
Do you intend to create more games about Gabriel King?

Hmm, I didn't have any big plans. But you never know. I had fun making this one.

Hi I'm stuck and need some help, and there isn't any hints and tips forum.

Spoiler
I got rid of the first guy at the roller coaster, and I made the emu shorter, but it's still not short enough.  I've got the ice cream, voodoo book (with mages missing), weighted club, and spade.  I clicked the ice cream on the emu, and something happened, but it didn't say what.

Hi Potch.

Spoiler

When you use ice cream on Emu it should make him shorter again.
But did you use the spade on the emu first??? Ã, If not you have to.
Then you speak to 2nd man again and measure yourself again ( I had to do it many, many times). Then you go to the roller coaster and get lighter. Ã, Then go to gas tank.......You are almost there.

Let me know if you need more help. ;)

I tried to use the spade again, but it says I've hit bedrock.  I've used the icecream a bunch of times, and the guy just says "We'll I
ll be, you're nearly tall enough"  But I still can't get on.

I don't remember exactly but
Spoiler
the something sharp is the beak of a bird, now I know you have to play golf and I don't remember exactly how I did it but somehow you hit a bird and it falls from the sky Have you got the golf club Did you get the golfclub from the sign? Try that and then I have a feeling you have to change golf club to a putter. Can't remember if thats after you get the bird though

That walkthrough should only be used in emergencies since it's so blunt.

Heh, I was a bit embarassed about that. I did tone down the pixel hunting in the version released with this thread announcement. (Particularly the gum, coin and hole - the ball is still hard to get when it's on the green though.)

Like I said in the hints and tips forum, way back when it existed, I'm still working on that but progress is slow because I suck at animating "large" characters - it just takes ages. It's the sprite frame cleanup that is so tedious - getting rid of all those double pixels. I keep telling myself I should finish the scripting and then get back to the animation, but that just makes a larger backlog of animation which depresses me even more.

Thanks for your encouragement though!

Thanks for your comments!
As for standing on the book, I meant to put in a message, something like:
"It may be a damaged book but mama would kill me if I got footprints on it."
Guess I forgot? :(
