I am currently working on a tech demo for one of my games (Sons of Gaia) and I am in need of a few things:
Background artistThere is a total of 4 backgrounds, and I don't think there will be any need of more! We allready have those 4 backgrounds done before, but we want to change the style a bit. Also they aren't 100% how we want them.
The style should be similar to the quality of the blackwell games!
Sorted!
Music/SFX
We offcourse need some music and sounds for it! ;D. Some orchestral stuff would be nice!
Voice actors
We would also like to release the demo WITH speech, so we will need several voice actors! More info will come soon! Though we for sure need 1 male and 1 female actor (prefferebly a Norwegian male (with good english) and a french female (with good english). There will also be a couple more male actors needed!
GUI design
We need someone to help us design a good and easy to use interface!
PM me for more info/screens if your interested!
The game has influences from Indy, The DIG etc.
Since I'm currently working on a small AGS-Version of Monopoli, I'm looking for a sprite/background artist who can draw sprites similar to the background of Jones in the fast Lane.
If interested, PM me! Thanks ;)

Oh, and chicky... I don't have a clever comeback but I'll just leave you with this: "You make me pee."
I want world peace and a bucket of chicken.
the scariest, balls-to-the-wall, pants-wettingly scariest adventure ever seen (on AGS)
Sorry Cat, I'm going with elliot87 on this one.
Duty calls! Looking for a programmer/consultant/motivator for a long term project. Lots of gfx ready to play with, comedic fantasy setting, needs some fresh blood. PM me if interested.
Try Dualnames. He loves it!
To all OSD fans. I am working on one of the biggest parts in the OSD series. I also want to finish this by the end of the year.
Have you ever wanted to add to the OSD universe or just make a game? Well don't miss this chance because this will be the best game ever!!!
here is a list of what I need for the game & how many people we should have in a group.
- Background music Size(1-5+)
I want to use original music for this game not music on the web.I would like to have a lot of music in this game to fit the environment, scene, or place.
- Sound effects Size(1-5+)
I would like for people to find sound effects that may fit the environment, scene, or place.
- Cut scene setup Size(1+)
I might be able to do this my self but it may be easier to show people how I would like the event to be setup so they can do it fast, better, & easy.
- world animation Size(1+)
There is some what a lot of little things that will be going on in this game that I would like to work with people on to show that the city is not really "flat" or just a picture but more of an everyday view(winter time)
- AI animation Size(1+)
Like what I said up top. There will also be people around the city who may be walking, talking, or just standing there but the still need a sort of idle view like yawing, calling someone,or waving.Or a main view like reading newspapers talking to another AI & more.
- character animation Size(1+)
The main characters of the game will have the most idle& main views.I will draw up the main characters Then draw them in game form with a list of action for there views. Then the members of this group will receive them in a pm &/or email.
- proofreaders Size(2+)
At the end of the project I would like to send the game to two people and have them read over the game and see if there is a typo.
- scripters Size(1-5+)
Scriptwriters will be need because everyone has there set knowledge on AGS and I find it necessary that we can get at least 3 people with who is good and more fond of ags then others.
- snow/rain plugin v2.02+ setup Size(1+)
It will snow all the time so I will need some one to add snow effects to the game that look some what real.
- world scripter Size(1-5+)
Like I said before there is a lot of little things that will go on in the world or in each room. But to make every thing meet right I need world scriptwriters to make every thing "come to life."
- Ai scripters
Like I said before there is a lot of little things that character will do in each room. But to make every thing meet right I need Ai scriptwriters to make every one "come to life."
- TCP/ip setup
like most OSD games, I would like to include an iphone which will have an app on it called "Chat Me"
This will allow players to chat with other players on a server.
I really want this game to go well and I know I can only get 20% far by myself doing the stuff I stated at the top. Hopefully this team thing will work ;)

We are currently looking for a score (either brand new or existing music which can be tailored for the edit) for a new feature film, which is in Post Production.
We are looking for a dynamic ambient score, to add weight to many of the dramatic scenes within the film. Composers which have influenced some of the styles we are seeking range from Brian Eno (for example his work on Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks), Elliot Goldenthal (Heat), Jonny Greenwood (There Will Be Blood), Eric Serra (Leon). These scores/composed pieces evoke an atmospheric and unobtrusive quality which we feel will add an very subtle yet dramatic element to the feature.
We are extremely limited financially due to the low budget nature of the film, but there is some money available. A full credit will be provided, including the poster, title sequence and DVD cover.
Our feature, “The Grind”, is a modern urban drama, set in world of sex, drug dealers, dance nightclubs and loan sharks. Vince (Freddie Connor) is the nightclub manager of The Grind in Hackney, East London and having fought his way to a decent living and respectable lifestyle he is determined to settle down and take life easier. Upon meeting and starting a relationship with Nancy (Zoe Tapper) Vince’s dream of running a casino for his Boss and getting married looks set.
Bobby (Gordon Alexander), Vince’s best friend from school, is released from prison and their friendship soon falls apart, Bobby’s addiction to cocaine and gambling spirals out of control and he now owes a huge amount of money to Vince’s boss, Dave (Jamie Foreman); owner of The Grind and an East End loan shark. Vince's life takes a dramatic turn for the worse. Loyalties are tested and friendships are pushed to their limits.
‘The Grind’ features a commanding ensemble cast including Jamie Foreman (Layer Cake, Nil By Mouth), Danny John-Jules (Red Dwarf, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Zoe Tapper (Survivors, Desperate Romantics) and Kellie Shirley (Eastenders, The Office).

Hello,
I have a completed micro-budget horror feature (82 min,) but the sound still needs work and I would like an editor who is able to bring this project to the professional level I know it can be. Experience is less necessary than a few good examples online of what you can do. The sound is all in place but needs to be tweaked so the project should not be a very long-term commitment. I do not have a specific number in mind for salary, but I do not want to skimp on this last section after fighting to get a 10k picture made.
The current edit is in FCP, so having FCP (and a way to send receive large files online) is probably necessary to complete this project.
All the best,
Sam

Infamous Adventures are looking for people to try and break our games!
We've got two games to get bug free. Our remake of Space Quest II is almost done, we're finished graphically, we're finished scripting, we're done with the music and SFX, we've even finished the voice pack! We just need to test it and make sure it doesn't crash or stupid things don't happen. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it!
And our latest release of our King's Quest III remake is nearly as done as SQ2. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's more complete and less buggy than our original release back in 2006! We've upgraded the graphics, pulled the game into a newer version of AGS and basically tweaked it so it rocks even harder. But with any changes, errors and problems arise.
To get these games out and released we need help! We need people willing to play these games over and over, try everything possible to break them, and then report to us exactly how they broke it. We went to know everything, game crashes, graphical glitches, even suggestions for improvements.
The only thing we ask is that you actually TEST the game and report the bugs to us. What we need are people who are dedicated, are ready to playtest and are able to make sensible reports. What we don't need are people who just want to play the game early. It's not about getting the game early, it's about getting it early and buggy and telling us what the bugs are so we can squash the crap out of them! And we don't need people to solely nitpick our grammar.
Infamous Adventures is a great group, we have a lot of fun! And we want you to join us and help make our games better!
To apply, send an email to testing.infamous@gmail.com with the subject heading "Play Testing Your Awesome Games" or something similar. Let us know if you have any experience playtesting software (either fan games or commercial), why you would like to playtest for us and your best joke.
Thanks and I hope to see you around IA soon!

Alison Jackson is looking for an experienced photographic retoucher proficient in photoshop mainly to deal with topical shoots for The Sunday Times.
Alison Jackson makes films about celebrities doing things in private using lookalikes that are made to look convincingly real. Her style is voyeuristic. She shoots as if through windows and door cracks or as if on a blackberry etc. Interest in celebrity culture is therefore a must.
Much re-touching involves re-touching portraits, replacing/reshaping facial features, matching lookalike facial posures to those of real celebrities, inserting replacement body doubles into photographs.
The applicant must be able to work extremely fast. Often re-touching must be done on set or within half a day as the images are needed quickly for press.
We would love to look at showreels, cv's and can talk through if necessary. Please send cv's to aj@alisonjackson.com. Freelance rate to be negotiated. Work is based in London.
Many thanks.
