Hopefully there isn't a bug in the upgrading-scene, because I have been told to be upgraded, but got no new card and the old one didn't change
Spoiler
after I gave them the "special soup"

and I have no save-game before that point to repeat it :P

Well there's now 3 way to get upgraded, and you need the 2nd class room for at least one item, I think I didn't find anything in the 3rd class, you can try 2nd deck for all doors then upgrade again by
Spoiler
getting the ring from the pool
[close]
and then get another card.

Thank you - I already gave up and quit.

After your post I tried again and believe it or not (I tried already all doors with my "old" card before quitting, but no chance)
This time I simply went through the (closed!) door - so there is a bug for sure, but I can go on a bit now  ;D

Edit: Same thing on the third floor  ::)
(but I found something there)  ;)

Door clipping errors!  How embarrassing.

My sincere apologies for any hardships faced.

To get from your second class suite to your first class suite, you must

first gain, then remit your Star Alliance rewards points

I just did a check and you should receive the card if handled correctly.  I'll need more information to see where your experience went off-the-rails.

I'm kinda stuck with no real clue as to what to do next.

Spoiler

I have the "Tiny Key", and know the password.
I've mended my spacesuit at the tailor.
i have a shitload of inventory items, some are unused, some are probably duplicates (stuff i've used and lost and then picked up again.)

Still havn't found a use for the Detergent, the magazine, or the colacan.
Can't figure out how to get to the bridge.
Can't figure out how to get into the locked door beside the robots.

so a small hint on where to go next would be nice  ;D

I am having trouble figuring out how to win the game in the casino.  There is also a bug in the game that causes the game to crash when you try to use the credit at the casino that you get from turning in the ring from the pool.

Thanks,
Michael

Hm.  Thanks for pointing out that issue.  I'm going to take a wild leap here and guess that you
Spoiler
were only able to enter the casino because you wore the tuxedo you got from the receipt from the first class suite that you got into because of a door clipping issue, rather than actually receiving the first class suite key?
[close]
If that is true, that explains the error.  If not, I'd be grateful if you could PM me some details about what, specifically, you mean by
Spoiler
try to use the credit at the casino
[close]
.

Oh, and regarding how to win the game.  Spoilers scale in subtlety below.

Spoiler
You need to rig the game.
[close]
Spoiler
You need to kill the cat.
[close]
Spoiler
You need to use pentobarbital to kill the cat.
[close]
Spoiler
You need to entice the cat to eat the pentobarbital.

Spoiler
Go to the doctor.  Talk to him until he falls asleep.  Listen to what he murmurs in his sleep.  Take his sick bay card.  Unlock the sick bay card.  Go to the medicine cabinet.  Open it using combination CCVI.  Take the drugs.  Go to the kitchen.  Open the fridge.  Take the tuna.  Combine the drugs with the tuna.  Administer to the cat.

OK maybe I am stupid or have hit a bug but I can't move beyond the repair shop with the partition and elevator. I'm having a hard time figuring out the correct power distribution on the last puzzle. It seems that...
Spoiler
...I need to maintain all life support systems powered up (air, cabin pressure, heat shields) + the undamaged thruster (starboard). Is that a correct conclusion?
[close]
After that, do I have to...
Spoiler
...ask the AI to reroute the trajectory through dialogue options?
[close]
If not, what should be done?

[EDIT]
I had the note maximized...
Spoiler
... and covering the instruments panel, before I could see there were hotspots for the controls.
I'm now figuring I must maintain on: life support (air supply, cabin pressure, heat shields), starboard thruster, bridge controls.
[close]
[EDIT2]
Dumb me. Optimizing power cells is not required!
Spoiler
For some reason I was trying to leave switched off all unnecessary systems, but that's not part of the puzzle. So, as long as you leave life support on + thruster + controls, it doesn't matter if other stuff is on or off.
Anyway, I have now managed to partially correct the trajectory of the ship, but the starboard thruster control is now broken.
[close]
[EDIT3]
Finished it! Just needed a bit more speed.
Thank you for developing it KodiakBehr. It was very, very entertaining! ;)

Spoiler
I did do the mouse soup thing, but I couldn't figure out where the find the ring. I looked in the pool but didn't see anything other than pool. I eventually just used the door clipping glitch to get in the 2nd class room ad then got 1st class the right way. Can anyone tell me how I was supposed to get the ring to show up?
