It's that time again, folks! (reposting for DG, the other thread has gone odd - hope you don't mind, DG)

What is a Photoshop Phriday?
See this link: http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/
And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/
The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.
-------------------------
What do I have to do?
So, today's Photoshop Phriday is this: "Bad Ideas For Adventure Games -- Movies!"
Remember Indy Jones and The Fate Of Atlantis?
Remember how brilliant it was?
However, for every Indy Jones you usually get a Hook, or a Blown Away, or an Aliens (the Cyro adventure, not the arcade).
So all you have to do for this Phriday is this -- Choose a movie that we're less likely to see as an adventure game and turn it into an adventure game (Some ideas for this: Steal an image and give it a GUI, combine a scene from the film with any particular adventure game, re-enact a scene from a movie using adventure game images, etc, etc, etc)
The best entries will win a trip to any country they wish*!
Good luck everyone!
* Not a real offer! HA HA HA!!!

I was going to redraw the scene in a Monkey Island style, but... you know... I got lazy.

DUDE, I seriously wouldn't mind playing that first one!
Ghormak, that is the funniest inventory item ever. USE bunch of guns on Agent Smith.

I love this! That is so cool!
Alright, this is my first REAL attempt at Photoshopping..
Tell me whatya think:

LGM, the entire GTA series and The Getaway is based on killing people for respect. And anarchy. But it's quite nifty. I'm torn between
Pulp Fiction: The Game! and The Matrix: Welcome to the real world*
*Incidentally, the first line spoken in 'Higher Learning' - 1995
Yes Flip.. But if you used your deductive reasoning you would realise that this game was made before Anarchy, GTA's and Getaway. Notice the big AMIGA at the bottom, and it's an adventure game, and the fact that sierra made it.. That would have to place this game back in the late 80's early 90's..
Yeesh :P
I did see that....but I assumed it was a (fictional) modern day game that you had put together, not released in a whole different era of gaming. :P
Most Movie-games come out around the same time the movie did.. SO think about it.. WHEN did The Godfather come out?
Simple
I was thinking about Howard's End: The Game with Lucasarts GUI consisting of two options: walk and look, but I'm too lazy to hunt for stills.
There're enough Brits on these boards that at least SOMEONE has probably seen this movie.
I present...Lucasfilm Games' Loomed Off!

...and the ever popular Samurai of Monkey Island...

Flippy: Despite whatever accuracy was needed, LGM'S post, like all others here, was a joke -- so I doubt anyone REALLY REALY cares about the exact specifications of the quote because this is supposed to be a bit of harmless fun.
Carry on, people! That's some A-class stuff you're putting here!

The question is, I suppose, never-minding the non-adventure state of the gaming market, is there a need for adventure games based on movies? Perhaps the pictures will answer that question for you. ;)
But seriously, I think no commercial company nowadays would make (or would do a good job making) an adventure based on a movie, and that's unfortunate, because in the past this idea is rare and today you can imagine the potential of it. And as for fan groups, any with the talent would not waste time on Hollywood.

How many points did that last command bring?
Yeah, the difference between the two, it assumes the command already happened. So it brought 4 points. ;D
No walk-behinds...
Man, I've really got to get in on these.
i hope it's not too late to enter, here's my extremely rushed pic
(http://www.fockuff.co.uk/gump.gif)
i searched loads of places (3) to find a pic of him sitting on the bench with a box of chocolates but i settled for this close-up talking like pic as i don't actually own and have never seen the movie...
I dunno, I'd have to say that a Forest Gump adventure game would be a terrible idea to make into a game. Good idea!
I don't think so, there's an illusion of choice/interactivity in Adventures.
Gump suceeds by doing everything he is told to do without question.
Good thing too, since if, like the woman, he thought for himself, he'd catch AIDS and die.

so he's not a film in himself, but meh.
Naranjas, I think you just became my deity!
Hehe, great stuff people - especially "HOTSPOT01", Relight ;)
Best Photoshop Phriday EVER!!!! No seriously, I think it is. I would totally play Episode II.
