Hi everybody,
after my release of the Space Quest prequel "Decisions of the Elders" last year I am now thinking about a new challenging project. And this time it shall be funny and sexy :shocked:
We all know that Al Lowe lost the master discs of Leisure Suit 4 decades ago. It's about time that someone finally closes the gap!!!
While I tried to emulate AGI with "Decisions of the Elders", LSL4 shall have the look and feel of LSL3 and SQ3 --> SCI fonts and graphics (no text parser, but icons). This means still 320x200 resolution, 16 colors but with many dithering effects.
The story will start where Larry's part in LSL3 ends (that's before Passionate Patti took over).
I am at the very very beginning of the project. So far I have only thought about some delicate puzzles and drawn a night-version of an LSL3-picture (bamboo maze entrance, where LSL4 will start) and created a close-up image of a girl. Isn't she gorgeous? And, wait, doesn't she look familiar?!

I'm getting completely lost with all those Sierra remakes and demakes. I can't tell anymore what's real and what's just mimicking old tech. Larry IV was never a graphical EGA point n click? Or is it just that you're adding full-screen portraits?

Larry 4 doesn't exist.
The series went straight to LSL5 from LSL3 - IIRC, originally the series was planned to be a trilogy and Lowe said there'd never be a LSL4. So, when he made the fourth chapter, he kept the promise :grin:
