Title: A Homie Adventure
Post by: SidneySacchi on Sun 23/08/2015 23:45:54
Hello everyone!  I'm honored to be in this community!  :)
I've just finished my first game with AGS and I hope you'll like it!   :-D

Suddenly, while watching a Ron Gilbert's speech about the Maniac Mansion postmortem, I decided to try to develop a very short and simple game as a tribute to LucasFilm games and their developers (David Fox, Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer and Gary Winnick).

So I asked my brother LostTrainDude some help ("how hard could it be?" cit.) and now here it is: A Homie Adventure (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/1953/)!

Syd wants to play to some LucasFilm games that are installed on Chris' PC. He has to figure out how to launch them... in a very... very hot summer day!

I dedicate this to my family, my girlfriend and, again, David Fox, Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer, Gary Winnick, and also to all of you!

I hope you'll enjoy it!
You can download the game here! (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/1953)
Thanks!  :-D

So THIS is what happens when I'm not home...
...Well if so I should stay away more often! (laugh)

I still remember when things were the other way around... Me playing while nobody else was (roll)

Great job, bro! I almost can't tell the difference from the real room :P
Congratulations on your first release and welcome to the AGS Community! 8-)

Looks pretty awesome man!  Nice raycast-ey lighting effects there in the screenshots too.  Maybe I'll give this a Let's Play run in a bit if you don't mind!
