Update: Today, whatever day it is today. I have uploaded a kind of demo version of this game now. It`s basically what i originally planned to do when I started the game, however as ive got more into it I have decided to make a whole second act yada yada yada. The second act is taking me much longer to complete as life is hectic at the moment so I have made a seperate game, Punk Quest 0.5 if anyone wants to play it.

No music at the moment either. Dont quite know how im going to do the music anyway because my computer is fukkered and wont play midis.
I am about to move out and suspect my game making will suffer for a bit so dont know when ill finish the second half (though i have made a good start on it, about 6/7 rooms so far)

he is red cuz he is punk.
i did try colouring him normally but i prefered him red. dunno why.
havent decided about punk cameos yet, all the good ones are dead anyway. might put avril lavigne in.

Is there an authentic punk MIDI soundtrack? That would rule. If I was making this game I'd probably put oodles of funky Clash MIDIs over it, a bit of Green Day too.
im thinking about that, i have no idea how to do midis. im leaving music till the end anyway. i was thinking of using a few low quality mp3 clips for certain parts of the game where music is a gameplay element. hmm.
i suppose there would be a lot of punk midis on the internet. whether ppl would mind me stealing them im not sure tho.

word. ive been scouring the internet for punk midis, found a few decent ones. i got some ramones ones thanx :) im gonna put beat on the brat in it i think. and fugazis waiting room which is a really good midi. theres not an amazing amount out there unfortunately. its all the offspring or blink182

There's a quite decent punk Interactive Fiction game made by some authentic squat-dwellers, it's called Broken String.
When playing that, I was sure it would make a great point and click.
You may be interested in checking this title for ideas, or whatever.

i was aware that there were a few punk text adventures around. a friend was telling me about one calles punk points or something, where you have to become more punk.
mines not really done along those lines, its more of just a case that its set in the world of your average kid whose into punk, or something.

well, i started playing the game, but all the mindless swearing and stuff about blair and bush just put me off of it, apart from that the art is good, although the main character kinds looks like he's clenching something in his arse when he walks, also have issues with him being completely red...
he IS clenching something in his arse, thats a later puzzle.
fairy nuff about the swearing, personally i like mindless swearing, each to their own :) i dont remember mentioning bush and blair often at all tho.
ive just seen the sites gone down, went over angelfires bandwidth limit. i have no idea what a good free host is, if anyone could point me int he right direction id be much obliged. I think its getting downloaded a fair bit from a punk site i posted it on, they seem to like it which makes me happy

Great game dude! Awesome dialogue, probably some of the best (if not the best) writing I've seen in an AGS game. I would enjoy the game more if there were animations but I still can't wait for the finished product.
I'm stuck on this one part (probably the last puzzle)... help please!
