Title: Embedded Youtube Videos
Post by: eri0o on Thu 31/08/2017 15:17:41
Hello,

Is the embedded youtube video of the forum broken? To me they appear as text now instead of being embedded ?

"[embed=x,y] video link [/embed]" are the ones I am referencing... Like here: Blackwell Epiphany trailer embedded (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=50385.0).

We now use this format:

bracketyoutube width=640 height=480]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk6V7Xv5cyQ[/youtube]

as below

As Slasher says, there are going to be a lot of broken YouTube links throughout the forums.  If you let me know where you see them though, I'll fix them up.

@AGA, can we please have a default of 640x400 for just copy+pasting youtube links into the forum ;-D
This size seems to display nice across most devices. optional width+height within the tags should overwrite the default.

Whoa!! Thanks! I am so happy! :D I didn't knew the format changed :)

Edit: Hey Slasher, I just finished seeing the video... Great X-Files references (laugh)

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! :-*

just copy+pasting the link works, even without the tags and I just found out the tags only care about the width tag and adjust the height accordingly, the height parameter is completely useless, which is fine with me :)
