I'd say that is fair price for it, but the processor is one designed to not use much power (so may seem a bit slow) and the build quality in general might not be too great (cheaper Lenovo stuff tends to be quite bendy).

If you try it out and are happy with the speed and condition of it, I think £90 is fine. If you didn't need it to run on batteries and fold into a tablet, you could probably get something either newer or faster for the same money.

I don't think it runs from power adapter does it?

Or get this one instead? Collect from Argos off of ebay.

It should be able to run from the charger.
Maybe your friend would let you 'test drive' it for a few days?

It really depends what you are looking from a laptop. Lenovo Flex seems to be some sort of laptop/tablet hybrid and if you like the touchscreen functionality and the convertible lid then it might be worth it. I'm a bit concerned about the cpu, 1.35 GHz dual core is not a lot and it might struggle with live streams and hd videos. And if not right now, then in a few years it will most likely get a bit slow for comfortable web browsing. Another thing to note is the battery life, it's probably a lot less now than it was when it was originally bought. Also, since it's a tablet type laptop, upgrading ram or other parts might be a bit tricky in the future.

I checked a few local (Estonian) online sites and saw that a couple of Flex laptops that were bought in the same price range had 8gb ram and 1.7 GHz cpu, so they were slightly better.

I guess I personally wouldn't buy it. I seems like nice travel laptop, but if you mostly work behind a desk, I'd rather look towards older business laptops. For example, for 90£ you can get (in Estonia) an used Lenovo T420 with an i5 cpu and 128gb ssd (probably poor battery though).

You can get some of the low-end Lenovo laptops that are a couple of years old for pretty cheap.

This is the second one I've seen at £40, and the first just ended with no bids.

Those are pretty old, I bought some of these at my old job and that was about 8 years ago. Plus the one in that ebay listing says broken screen so it seems pretty expensive.

Are you just looking to run AGS, or would it have to do anything else?
