Title: Big Plans for my Sci-Fi Momotaro Story
Post by: DBoyWheeler on Tue 11/12/2018 10:52:19
Remember when I made that sci-fi Momotaro story for one of the past Fortnightly Writing competitions?

Well, I've got even bigger ambitions for that story now.  And some other stories like it.

Currently, I'm retooling, revamping, making a deluxe edition... basically improving that story.

Why?  I'll tell you why.  I'm planning to submit the improved version to "Fantasy & Science Fiction" magazine!

Wish me luck on the endeavor!

Luck?  Where you're going you don't need luck!

Ah, this brings back memories of my younger days getting stories and poems published in very low circulation small press magazines... I really wanted to get published in Interzone (is that still going?) but sadly it wasn't to be, anyway I was never going to be able to compete with the likes of Stephen Baxter and Greg Egan to get into that one!

Anyway enough reminiscing, all the best with your endeavours mate.   If all else fails you could consider self-publishing your own collection.
