Title: Museum meets videogame
Post by: TheFrighter on Sat 22/12/2018 13:19:43
I am always amused when adventure games are set in real historical places, just like Gabriel Knight: the Beast within to say one!

A recent example is this Past for Future,  developed in collaboration with the Museo Nazionale Archeologico di Taranto:

Yeah, many museums have some "virtual exploration" game-like on their websites, but I think the graphic adventure setting is more intriguing to discover a place full of culture.

I've always said that Gamification and Imagery is the future of Education. Imagine having adventure games, visual novels and simulation games back in high school or elementary school.

I remember tutoring a coupe of Korean kids that read comics that taught real historical events in entertaining ways. I'm not sure if the comics were originally Korean, but they were definitely entertaining, and the kids loved them.
