Well, Ghormak had no time to host this competition so he asked me to host it. Anyway, I have something in my mind...
Make a remix of some tune which is played in some AGS-game. You must use some different theme than in original tune.
Examples: medieval version of Pleurghburg's main theme, Larry Vales in space-theme etc.
Hope you get the idea. Happy composing! :)
-
uhm... where can we get the originals? :P
-
Try... playing the games... :)
-
Play games and listen :) Main point is that you can regocnize the original tune.
Edit: heh, AGA got first :P
-
/me nods in agreement
Petteri didn't just make that up in order to be able to host this compo. :)
-
Aww... come on! It's easy to win because it seems that nobody is going to attend :P
-
I don't like the rules very much :) sorry :)
who's gonna make up the rules when there is no winner?
I think ghormak deserves it
-
Well, I like it and I plan to enter... if I have time (which I probably will). :D
-
Okay, I changed deadline to May 2nd because Sluggo said he's planning to enter and I would like to hear what he has made :)

Ok, here it is! It's like a ballet variation version of an AGS theme. Thanks for extending the guideline.
See if you can guess which theme I used (It becomes more obvious towards the end).

And the winner is...
SLUGGO! Great job, sounds really good :)
Sounds very familiar ;)
-
hmmm I can't guess it
but it's very professional! :o
classical style very perfect I must say
I only wish you used a different sound for the violin ;)
Great work
-
:) Thank you very much. For anyone who couldn't guess it, it was the Larry Vales theme.
Oh and N3TGraph, all I have to work with is GM, so I can only imagine how awful it sounds on your system :) .
-
heh lol
though I do have a SB-audigy
